Jan 26th : Solara

Hello . Hope everyone is having a great day. Today was half day at work so it was nice to relax this afternoon on the island. We have a few announcements today . We have a villager in the campsite. The plot I placed yesterday is now sold. We also have Kicks visiting for the first time.

Let’s go see who is at the campsite today.

I keep debating on if I should invite her to move to Crescent. I know I said I wanted to wait for the newest villager to move in before adding more plots. I think Eunice would make a great neighbor. So I decided to let Eunice decide. If she asks to move in then I should let her. I lost the first game we played but after that she asked to move in anyway.

So on my way to get a plot from Nook to place in Crescent cliff. She will be next door neighbors with Ken.

So on my way back to tell Eunice the good news I caught a new fish .

So excited to have another new friend coming to the island.

Welcome to the island Eunice. I hope you enjoy spending time with us.

Deciding took all day and during the time I spent figuring it out. I went and saw Kicks .

I bought some new bags .
I went to Ables and got a new outfit.

Our other new neighbor will remain a mystery even to me until Isabelle announces who it is. I wonder who will move in first or if they will move in on the same day .

Kitt wanted me to visit her house. We had a nice visit.

I gave all my villagers veggies as gifts. No photo today but that’s okay will just keep on trying.

Jan 26th : Solara continued

I decided it was time to take a trip off the island. Nook told me awhile ago he left me a ticket at the counter at the airport. Let’s go see what kind of island we can fly to. I hear if your lucky you can find a bamboo island.
The first of two islands I went to had apples , coconuts and plenty of wood to bring back for crafts. Orville explaining how the islands work.

After exploring the island and getting some materials I headed back to my island. I went and got an extra nook mile ticket and headed back out to see if I could find that bamboo island. Luck was on my side as I was able to find it.

Brought back some bamboo to plant.

It’s been a long day that started way to early without much sleep (4:30am) unfortunately not feeling very well at the moment so off to sleep and hope I feel better in the morning as tomorrow is my 12 hour work day. Goodnight

Jan 27th : Solara

Good morning. I went to bed early last night and feeling much better. Not 100% but definitely better. We have a new neighbor this morning. We welcome Cyrano to the island.

Let’s go over and welcome him to the island. On my way over Tex called out to me. He asked if I was still working on getting K.K Slider I told him yes and he gave me a gift.

Thanks so much for the DIY I will definitely be making this as soon as I find some glowing moss.

The bamboo I planted yesterday is already starting to grow. Cyrano house will look great when it finishes growing.

Nice to meet you Cyrano. I hope you like it here.

Good luck with the unpacking.
I was taking a walk and look who I found hiding behind a tree.

It’s flick . I asked him to make me a honey bee model. I also sold him some bugs . I hope he comes back often. I would love for him to make me some butterfly models.

I hope he finds his soul bug.

I went over to R.S and learned some new reactions.

Jan 27th : Serena

Tonight we have a very special visitor. Celeste is here. Though I didn’t see any stars. She must of forgotten we met on other island because she gave me the recipe for the star wand again. That’s ok it was still nice to see her.

Flick is also here. I asked him for a model of the wasp.

Getting to meet the new neighbor. I hear we will have another new neighbor Eunice tomorrow.

I went over to see Ken and he was cooking. I already had the recipe. Will give it to Solara for when she learns how to cook.

Ken was talking about what the future will be like in 5 years. I try not to worry about things so far away.

Went over to visit with Tex and he told me the secret to his success.

I caught a new butterfly.

I also checked my mail for today and had two letters.

Jan 28th : Solara

Today we welcomed our new neighbor Eunice to the island. I hope she likes it here. This means we have one last plot left. I really wish we could have more then 10 villagers. I know I could find space for at least two more. I probably won’t place the last plot until Tuesday. Unless we get a camper before then.

My Mail for today was three letters.

As I was going to see our new neighbor I found a lost item.

This was the description it gave me.

Obviously someone lost it. That doesn’t really help me figure it out. Since Ken was there when I found it I figured I might as well as him if he knows anything about it.

You don’t really need to ask me where I found it since you were there when I picked it up.

Jan 28th : Serena

Today we welcome Eunice to the island . The first thing I did was go over to say hello.

Today I decided to work on the beach area near the dock. It’s going to be a market area. It is the area in front of the farm. So there will be a fish market , vegetables stand and fruit stand. I was thankfully able to trade someone for a fish drying rack. So far this is how it’s looking. I might add some more fish containers and some fishing rods.

I decided to go to some mystery islands today in order to find some stone. On my way over to get some Nook mile Tickets Flip came over to give me a gift.

As far as a remember Solara gave this to him. But I won’t tell her he regifted it to me.
Outside of R.S Flip was having a conversation with Victoria. They were trying to decide if they should have a weightlifting competition or a dance competition.

They couldn’t decide so they asked me.

I decided on the Dance competition

I really don’t think Flip wants to wear a donut costume. Where would he even get one if he did?

While I was getting my nook mile tickets I also got some new reactions.

I decided to go on four Nook mile tours that should get me the amount of stone I need. The first one was to s bamboo island. I wasn’t actually looking for this island but that’s ok I hit yo take a lot of bamboo back with me.

The second island took me to a money rock island. I really wanted stones. I found a few really just found a good amount of bells and wood.

Normally I would be happy about the hells but I really did want stone. The next two islands were apple islands. Perfect I should be able get a good amount of stone there right? On the 4th island and only needing three more stone with three more rocks to hit. You would think getting three stone from three rocks would be easy right? Nope all three rocks had only clay and iron nuggets.

So I went back to my island and grabbed one more nook mile ticket. This time I will get the last of the stone I need. In the end the only reason I did get them was because there was stone sitting next to three of the rocks. Hitting the rocks on that last island only hit me more clay and iron nuggets. Sometimes it seems like the islands know what you are looking for and just give you the opposite. At least I now have my stone and tomorrow I can work on my next project. Goodnight

Jan 29th : Solara

Today was a busy day . I did manage to get on early and actually buy turnips this week. First time on this island so I didn’t buy many. Let’s hope for a good week and that I remember to check the turnip prices at Nook’s Cranny.

Kitt asked me about trying to get K.K. Slider to visit. The villagers are pretty excited about it. I haven’t asked Isabelle to check how many stars the island has. I will ask her about that once I get the last villager plot up and sold. Wouldn’t want anyone to miss out.

I’m not so sure the island needs a gas pump but I appreciate the thought thank you.

I ended the day by having Blathers look at the fossils I had found. Only one of them was needed for the museum. It did complete one of the fossils.

Jan 30th : Solara

Flick is our visitor of the day, I went and asked him for a model.

I made sure to go to Nook’s Cranny to check the morning turnip price it was 76.
Kitt let me know that Tex was not feeling well so I went to bring him some medicine.

I hope Tex feels better soon . Make sure to get plenty of rest.

Before I left for work this morning I found a lost bag. I didn’t have time until this evening to go and find it’s owner. Turns out it was Victoria who lost it. She was happy to have it back.

I found new fish . I checked Nook’s Cranny for the evening turnip price and it was 73,

Serena has already donated them to the museum.
Ozzie asked me to come visit his house.

We had a great visit and played a game that I won.

Ozzie told me he likes falling asleep looking at his sandwich. That doesn’t surprise me as he likes food even more then I do.

After my visit with Ozzie I spent some time with Cyrano. He was trying to catch a fish. I hope he does catch one soon.

I donated a fossil to the museum and it completed another Dinosaur. I can’t wait until we find them all.

Jan 31st : Serena

Today I decided to work on the park. I placed some paths and some trees. The villagers here like to read in the park so I put a small library there. It still needs some more flowers. I also put a few benches in. If the villagers continue to read on the ground I may have to place some comfy rugs down instead.

I found a new fossil for the museum. It completed another dinosaur.

I noticed Ken was walking around R.S so went over to have a chat. He said he had a problem he needed help with.

Now that he thought about it he had already forgotten what the problem was.

Before I made the move to Crescent I lived on Serenity. There I had a job at Happy Home Paradise. (HHP) It was a job designing vacation homes for Clients. The good thing about that job is that Lottie is very understanding. When she heard I was making a big move she gave me some time off . Now that I’m settled and most of the terraforming is done it’s time to go back to work.

I know it’s been a long time sorry for my absence. While I was gone Niko invented some new DIY’s he was so excited to share with me. He didn’t mind I took some time off just happy I was back.

I went over to see Lottie and get my first assignment, I think I will get back into work slow and only do one vacation home today.

My client today is Pashmina. She wants a vacation home she can relax and work on flower crafts .

I gave her a nice flower patch outside and an area to work on her crafts.

Inside I gave her a bedroom, small kitchen and an indoor crafts area in case it’s not nice weather.

She seemed happy with her vacation home.

When I got back to the office Lottie was on the phone with a new client. Lottie said they had seen the pictures of the vacation homes I made.They were interested in getting a home for themselves.

Lottie also let me know that the vacation home I just finished was my 20th. I didn’t realize I was so close to that goal before I took my leave. Lottie decided we should celebrate.

Jan 31st: Serena: Celebrating 20 vacation homes

Lottie decided we should have our party at the Restaurant.

We have done so much work together. It’s definitely been so much fun.

Lottie has big plans for our future .

She wants to hold a music festival. We just need to finish 10 more vacation homes.

That sounds like so much fun.
Lottie also said we should be able to get permission to add another faculty soon.

After some work talk we enjoyed the night. It was fun hanging out with my coworkers. After the party I made a small stop at the office before going home. Niko has been working on new DIY’s. I have been trying to help him by donating materials to his box.

I gave him some new materials with the hope it will help him.

Jan 31st : Solara

Today we have Leif visiting. I bought some more flowers from him. Flip gave me a new DIY for trying to get K.K Slider to visit.

A little while later Flip was found thinking about something. He said he was thinking of moving but I’m not ready to say goodbye yet. So glad he changed his mind.

He was later found taking a nap.

Tex was enjoying himself fishing

Victoria told me about her recent purchase.

Later I went to visit Tex in his house and Kitt was there too. We had a nice visit.

This evening when I was walking out my door after a nice dinner my phone started to ring. It was Nook saying he wanted me to meet him at the airport as he had someone he wanted me to meet. So I hurried over to meet them.

It was a friend of Nook’s named Lottie. She is looking for someone who wants a part time job helping design vacation homes.

It is nice to meet you Lottie. The job sounds like a lot of fun. A good way to learn new things. Serena told me she works there already and she really enjoys it.

I am definitely interested. This new adventure sounds like a lot of fun.

Jan 31st continued: Solara’s first day at work.

I arrived on the island and was greeted by one of my new coworkers. His name is Niko . He seems friendly and full of great advice.

Nice to meet you. We are now off to the office to meet my other coworkers.

I got to meet Wardell. He doesn’t talk much but that’s ok. He seems nice .

Now it’s time to change into the uniform. It is nice you can pick out your own outfit.

Now that I have changed it’s time to go back downstairs and start my first day.

I agree Lottie I always learn best by doing . Our first client came to us.

Your heard right . We are just getting started but will help you the best we can.

Eloise’s dream vacation house is full of books. That happens to be mine as well so this should be fun.

We showed Eloise to her new vacation home. Niko gave me some pointers and I got to work.

I think it turned out pretty good . Eloise thinks it looks great too.

It was the time to go back to the office to see Lottie and let her know how things went.

Jan 31st : Solara’s first work day continued

We headed back to the office and told Lottie the good news. Our first client loved her vacation home.

Lottie told me great job and payed me in Poki. That’s the currency they use here instead of bells.

I used some of the Poki to buy myself a plant and a small table.

Next was to learn about sales. Lottie says not everyone will come and see us at the office. We have to go out and talk to potential clients. So off I went to see if I could find anyone.

I went and talked to Apple who wanted an apple inspired vacation home.

This time I was able to decorate her yard . So I planted some apple trees . There wasn’t a lot of furniture to choose from but I’m sure as I learn I will get more options.

Here is the inside. Apple seemed to like her vacation home. She wanted us to take a picture of it.

Back to the office. I got payed by Lottie.
I showed her the picture we took of Apple’s vacation home.

Lottie then gave me an app to manage all the pictures .

It has been a fun first day at work . I look forward to learning more and helping clients get their dream vacation home. Now it’s time to get some sleep after a busy day.

Feb 1st : Serena

Hello , today we have Label
Visiting for the first time. She is sisters with Mabel and Sable . It was nice meeting her.

I found a bag on my walk around the island. I was able to give it back to Kitt.

I remembered that I totally forgot about checking yesterday’s evening’s Turnip price. This morning price was 61 . This evening’s price was 118. We are finally going up in price. I will not be able to check tomorrow mornings price as I gave an early work day. Hopefully the afternoon price will be good to sell.
I went over to visit Ken and he wanted to buy my tiger butterfly. So I let him.

We finished another fossil today .

I went to see the completed fossil and Flip was there. I will

Flip I really don’t think you really want to be a fossil.

She wanted me to help her by picking an outfit based on s theme. The theme was fairy tale. Label gave me a garden tank but I really didn’t think that matched the theme so went with this instead.

She liked my outfit and gave me tailors tickets and socks.

Feb 1st : Solara continued: 2nd day of work
I almost forgot to mention I got this nice photo in the mail. It’s of Lottie, Niko and Wardell.

My first assignment today was to go back to Eloise’s house and take a photo for the design album.

I went back to the office after taking a picture . Lottie gave me 2,000 Poki for taking the picture .

I used some of my Poki and bought a piggy bank , owl clock and utility wagon.
I didn’t have a lot of time so only worked on one vacation home. It was for Bob. He wanted a home full of flowers. I can’t wait until I can design with more items. This will work for now but definitely going to go back and change some things.

Feb 2nd : Solara

Today was a busy day so not much time to play on the island. I sold my Turnips today and made a profit. No time tomorrow to try and sell.

I then checked my mailbox and had these letters.

Ozzie had sent me a ninja costume.

Got my tailors tickets.

That was so nice of them. I will have to remember to thank Lottie , Niko and Wardell next time I go to work.
Gullivarrr was on the beach so I went to help him.

It took a little while to find his communicator . I found some new sea creatures. Then finally found it.

I got some new reactions from Nook’s Cranny. They are special and only available for a short time.

I went to visit Ozzie and found him
Asleep .

This perfectly describes how I feel right now. The day started so early and was so busy I could fall asleep standing up. I do wonder if the villagers ever use their beds. Whenever I see them sleeping they are usually standing up and not in their bed.

I agree Ozzie I love naps too. Now it’s time to get some sleep . Hope everyone has a great night.

Jan 3rd : Solara

Yesterday was another busy RL day so posting this late as I was too tired to post it yesterday.
Eunice gave me a cone as a gift . She said she was thanking me for trying to get K.K. Slider to show up . I promise he will be here at some point soon.

Ken thought he might share his story then decided to wait for a better time .

I checked my mail before heading off to work.

When I finally got back home it was late. I went over and payed off my home loan. I really do need some storage space.

I went over to the museum to have Blathers check some fossils. We now have another completed fossil.

I decided to check the rest of the museum. I go to the museum every day but usually just check fossils and continue on my day. The museum has grown pretty well. Both myself and Serena have been donating to the museum when we find something new. Let’s explore the fish area first

It really is peaceful just watching the fish swim around. It’s nice seeing how the museum changes with each new donation.

I really could spend all day here if I had the time.

Off to my favorite part of the museum. The butterfly room. Even though I’m not a huge bug fan I love butterflies.

I also really like the orchid mantis.
So pretty I wish we could grow this flower.

Feb 4th : Solara

Today is a stormy day. I went to change clothes into my rain gear. As soon as i was finished changing there was a knock on my door. Tex had come for a visit.

We had a nice visit. We chatted for awhile and played a card game that I won.

I checked my mail and Eunice had sent me a card and gift about my new room.
I learned a new reaction from Kitt.

Talked to Nook.

He told me I could now change my house exterior and move my mailbox if I wanted.

I found a bottle with a new DIY.

I decided to go to work today. It was raining and not much would get done in the rain.

My first client of the day is Flora. She was an all pink vacation house.

He taught me something new. He calls operation sparkle.

Now I can make furniture shiny .
After a chat with Flora we headed back to the office .

Lottie thinks it’s time for a break.

According to Lottie I need to go see Niko. So I headed upstairs to change and then went off to find Niko.

Feb 4th : Solara continued

I picked out my outfit.

As I walked out of the office I saw Lottie in front of an abandoned building. So I went over to say hi and see what she was up to.

She wants to get a school up and running.

But first we need to mad some more vacation homes. So I will go back to work after I find Niko.

He seems to have already forgotten what he wanted to say. Thankfully it didn’t take him long to remember.

He wanted to know about a bottle he had found. It had something in it and he didn’t know what it was. I explained to him it was DIY recipe for crafting. He seemed pretty excited about it.

He thanked me by giving me the recipe.

I then changed back into my work clothes and went to see if there were any clients that needed help.
I found Cleo and she wanted a spa vacation house.

I have some more ideas for her house when I finally get to use some more items. For now it’s off to bed . Tomorrow is going to be another busy day. Goodnight

Feb 5th : Solara

This morning Daisy Mae is here selling turnips. I decided to try my luck again. It worked out pretty well last week. So I bought more this week. Buying as many as I could and placing them in my new room. Hopefully this works out in my favor. I will use the profits to build a new bridge.

I ran into Flip after I bought my turnips and he gave me a garden gnome. I will find a place for this later.

I got a letter from the airport it had a shirt in it. So I quickly changed

Later in the day when I got back on I gave Flip a gift and he gave me his photo.

I went to the museum and completed another dinosaur.

I found Ken in the fossil section of the museum. We talked about the different fossils for awhile.

Kitt said she had a fight with Mira and asked me to help her out. Of course I will so I headed over Mira’s.

Mira happily accepted Kitt’s gift and now they are back to being friends.

I found Wisp and he needed my help again. It took awhile to find his spirits.

On my search Flip invited himself over to my house for a visit.

We had a nice visit. I lost the card game we played but that’s okay. Sorry Flip I just really didn’t need the prize for winning.

Flip thinking about what my room needs.

He probably thinks it needs more workout gear because it doesn’t have any.

He noticed the painting on the wall.

We had such a great visit I almost forgot what I was doing before he invited me over. Okay now to find the rest of Wisp’s spirits. I finally found them all and realized I forgot where I saw Wisp. So off to find him again. I did manage to find him and he was happy for the help. After all that my gift was :
