Sorry? I've been playing mafia for years, so please don't assume I'm instantly talking about you? lol. I was talking about myself and that was kind of blatantly clear in my post. I've got 20+ games on TBT under my belt, so I think know how people react to ME in mafia games. I was talking about people dog piling on me when I have argument with players e.g. last time I argued with Sarasa and things got really heated.

You said you were reading through old mafia games and were complaining that the new game was sooooOOOOooOO rude to you, but clearly you haven't read enough because what they said is actually nothing really and you're overreacting. Things were much more aggressive back then compared to how they are now. Your situation is entirely a case of overreaction after being called out. Now just drop it. My post didn't concern you at all.

man, i also forgot to mention to minties i wasnt talking about myself. i literally posted that bc ive been watching the tarot thread and didnt like the nastiness that had nothing to do with me. thats really why i posted. i didnt post that last post for myself. im not that narcissistic, thanks though. omgz. i just went back and reread this post and forgot to address this. ya, gasp, not just about me, but im not meaning to take away what i said before.

What do you guys think about WHEN to roleclaim as mafia and WHO to claim as? I took a big risk doing it in the scummies mafia and almost got myself killed for it. I know it's hard to actually formulate the best thing to claim and when you claim it. I feel like I struggle with that a bit.

I do it when I know I slipped earlier and someone will find it. I make as much confusion as possible and my "reads" are literally just a guessing game.

Minties, I know personally when I make something heavily criticized that I feel exactly as inkling described. Some people just aren't good with critisism.

That being said, heated emotions are a part of the game, inkling. I don't think these kinds of things are personal attacks, but rather someone's frustrations from within the game's boundaries. I usually try to remove myself from the game mentally, if possible. I've also found http://lifehacker.com/5915488/how-can-i-learn-to-take-criticism-without-taking-it-personally to be a great guide to help me take critism, and put me back into perspective.

@Minties I usually drop the claim when it's coming down to the wire and I have to claim, considering I'd do the same thing as town. The only exception is if I can set something up (like if I found the SK) and claim a way that I could have found them and get an evil lynched. Ofc it doesn't clear you, but it makes town more trusting.

I haven't played too many games with you (one or 2 I think) but I can already tell you are a fairly valuable player for whatever team ur on. The games I played with you, you only lasted like a couple days tops if I remember correctly so I don't have anything bad to say per se. I do see when you get very defensive sometimes tho, I don't know if thats just a tactic or how you are but you might wanna regulate a little so mafia doesn't get like super emotional (I remember that fight u had with ness tho, i guess don't do that lol)

For only ever being town, I think you're too aggressive and messy. I see you tend to tunnel people and get a bit snarky when questioned. You also post a lot, so I would definitely work on getting all your thoughts in one clean post(s)

@Jacob, you're posts can get really messy too. I'd work on making sure you're opinions and thoughts are clear to see and read. Because in the past, I've had trouble following with that you're saying.
