Cute "trendy" villager designs!

I found this lovely chart of villagers on Instagram designed by a user by the username of @byeongpyeong (all credits to her obviously!) They're all more trendy than the villagers we have now and I know we'll never get them, but I'd love to hear people's opinions on them! Personally, I love Dok and would die for him

I don't know what the definition of "trendy" is supposed to be in this particular case because I find some of the designs very compatible with Nintendos, but Webster Hamlin Woojoo Wattson and the kitsune wolves would be an instant lineup. But thank you for showing me this artist (did you ask for reposting permission though?), I don't use IG and now I have some strong ideas for my private NL villager retextures!

not to be dramatic or anything, but if any of those villagers were added to the game, i would die. like just straight up. gone.

but seriously i really really love alvaro! im always a fan of the horses and hes just so cute lol
some of them i dont think i would ever see added to the game, like TikTok doesnt look like a villager to me but more of an oc if that makes sense.
but honestly all of these make really good use of their species (especially dok and wattson!!) super creative i love all of them

I like Wattson because that was very creative to make him look like a light bulb. I love Woojoo, because she has a spacesuit, and Ruby already exists, and she's a moon rabbit. I love the creativity behind Dok. They took his nose and turned his face into a plague doctor. Not to steal your thunder for sharing, but I feel like it would be a missed opportunity. A person on Twitter @okeypokes made an octopus named Banana that has banana arms.

omg the black villagers are amazing!

obviously the artist did a fabulous job on all them, but I would hunt down all of the spooky/darker villagers

If Camella and Laella were in the game, they would 100% be the most popular villagers

I honestly don't have a clue which word I was looking for, but I guess by trendy I mean more colorful and different? It's hard to describe haha. Most of Nintendos designs are more realistic to animals in real life

Not to dismiss the talent of the artist but they are all too cutesy, imo. I’d like to see villagers with more character and designs that more strongly suggest a history/backstory.

Woahhhh I really like Buttons, Voodoo & Quilton! Would go really well with Stitches!
I also really like Baphene, Lenore, and Dok! Would really go well with witchy, dark themed islands!
Now I'm kinda tempted to do a villager OC because of this, they all look great!
