Cute "trendy" villager designs!

Oh my gosh these are soooo creative and some are just sooooo cute! Scoop??? Hello I need Scoop on my island right now. He can kick Clay out any day he wants. I have Merengue and I just feel like they’d go so well together 😭

also I’ve never been a fan of the octopuses or the anteaters, but Wattson and Dok are both really cool designs! I love how mysterious Dok is. If he were actually in the game, I just might give up Wolfgang for him 😵

and Mr. Macaron is really making me wish there were turtle villagers in the game! WHAT A FREAKIN CUTIE
 
Dok :love: If he were real, he would be the best cranky villager in the game. Also love Baphene (?) and Lenore, all three of them would be absolute dreamies for me! Lenore would go so well with Olivia 🖤
Actually the whole bottom row is amazing, except for maybe TikTok - she's just a bit too edgy/memey for me (although I love that shade of pink.)

at first i didn't understood what you mean by "trendy" (before entering the thread) because in ac universe there are "trends" so maybe that was what people were thinking. but i get the choice of words when i saw the villagers. trendy is basically the opposite of classic, and those designs are definitely unique, and in an interesting or cute way.

you know what i have to say it.... nintendo's designs when they try to be "unique" with the villagers could be a hit or miss. it would depend on a persons taste i guess. the quirkiness of wattson & woojoo are something i haven't seen in nintendo for a very long time. then again, they didn't introduce a lot of new villagers & some of them are just flat. i think they reserve some of the more interesting design for special edition villagers like with the collaborations from before.

ac fans are so creative though so i won't be shocked if they design such great villagers. primrose could easily be the ultimate uchi or the most popular one from that personality. the black villagers look so great and the dessert themed ones are so creative. and i'm looking at alvaro and i'm like how the heck did nintendo not think of a cowboy horse?
 
holy moly. i never knew how much i'd need Voodoo in the game until i saw this. He has that petite chibby size i love and his colour scheme and design scheme is just *chef's kiss*

the rest of the designs of the fan-made villagers honestly can put raymond to shame anytime. nintendo take notes.
 
These are so cute! I would love to have all of them in my town, but my favorites are definitely Marzipan and Primrose!
 
wow, these are pretty cool. to me a lot of the really pastel ones dont look like they fit in with other ac villagers but I love the creativity of the plague doctor anteater and the space octopus. pretty sure the animal crossing horror community would keel over and die for all of the bottom row lol

I need Dok more than I need life. Horror and anteaters (two of my favorite things combined) has made me combust upon seeing him

I really like them. If they were added, we would probably only get 1~3 of those at once, because they all look so unique, especially the ones in a series. For the sweets, they probably *only* want to have Merengue, for the plushies, probably *only* stitches. But a themed island with only sweets villagers would be great as well.

I love Dok, and I also really like TikTok because I have a weakness lol but her name/catchphrase are maybe a bit too on the nose right now.
Edit, I also love the idea of an "artsy" uchi (Primrose), I feel like we need it

Haha yeah - of course Nintendo couldn't use that catchphrase if they ever created her (for obvious reasons!) but I really love her bangs x)

They're all so creative 😭 Corona has leeched my creativity dry and I haven't written, needle-felted, or finished all my unfinished digital art in ages I don't know how people do this
