Cute "trendy" villager designs!

Buttons gives me major Zipper vibes and I love that. Easily my favorite of the bunch.

Wattson and Woojoo would also absolutely get added to my island if these were real villagers.

That said I do feel these designs are a bit over-the-top for Animal Crossing. I feel I would get overwhelmed if all the villagers were so in your face so I definitely appreciate the simpler designs we have. Not saying I would hate it if they sprinkled in a couple more "unique" villagers! Pietro is my favorite after all, hah.

I don't know if anyone is familiar with it but there is an old ds game called Magician's quest: Mysterious Times that plays similar to animal crossing and these designs oddly remind me of that game.

Also if the game I mentioned sounds interesting don't get too attached to the idea of playing it. I've been hunting a copy for years and due to it's rarity it goes for 80-130 bucks online.

I would love to have Charlie, she looks too adorable! For some reason, when I saw Lenore and her name, reminded me of Castlevania, but not too similar.

I also love Camellia and Laelia, they look so good together, would honestly love to have them!

Lenore is actually a character in Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven" (and another poem simply called "Lenore") in which the phrase "nevermore" is very central. I think that that's just such a lovely reference 🖤

Yeah, I have read a couple of Edgar Allen Poe’s works before. I forget about his other poem, whoops! Anyway, thank you for telling me.

Ah, these are great! Although I don't really care for the first set, they're just too cutesy to me and therefore a little bit bland. The other set is great though. I LOVE Amanita (the mushroom villager), Woojoo (the space bunny), Baphene (the baphomet goat. This is the best one imo, although tbh I would like it more if it was a male villager or even better a villager without a gender) and Dok (the plague docter anteater! this one is brilliant too). I don't know which kind of villager the mushroom one is, I can't really tell what animal they're supposed to be, which I think would be a bit unrealistic for nintendo. And the last two would probably be just way too dark for nintendo, sadly. Although, there's Raddle, so maybe a plague doctor could theoretically happen? I'm of course under no illusion that any of these villagers are real, haha, but it just made me think of how nintendo makes their designs and where they draw the line. Most of the villagers are really cutesy, but they did make creatures like Raddle or Tiffany (who I both love by the way) so who knows. Although I don't think they'd ever make a baphomet villager d: The space bunny is actually a pretty realistic design for nintendo I feel! Of course there's Ruby, but how cute would it be to have some villagers with space helmets incorporated in their design?

Omg these are adorable!!! Really hope nintendo releases more villagers that look like this.

My favs are webster, charlie, camellia, laelia, and primrose!!

All of these villagers are so cute! I really like wattson, alvaro, primrose, custard and scoop! I always want more food themed villagers. :)

Ahhh this brings me back to designing my own Pokemon when I was younger. Very creative!

I love Woojoo and Wattson! I'm surprised an astronaut villager isn't already a thing considering a lot of the villagers have space themes in their houses

I would take Dok and Baphere (?) in a heartbeat. Though it is a mystery to me why the latter is not named Hecate/Hekate, Selene or Artemis :p (though that could be my Greek mythology-centrism.. is it a reference to Baphomet?)

Can someone explain the Tiktok one to me? I have never used the app.

I require Lenore and Dok. No questions asked, I could and would eat them for breakfast if they were in the game.
