Alright well I originally was beginning to have sus'about Daniel at the start when he was defensive about every post, so when he started talking about dad being scum, I thought he was looking for ways to get out of the situation. Not to mention, dad even said something asking the lines of "lol we all know your just looking for someone to agree with you now." So, I decided to fake a suspicion about dad to see if he reacted, he didn't, and he passed. so I tossed it aside and made up an excuse for saying I had dad suspicions. Then I get questioned, and I tell the truth. Than, Daniel replys defensively, saying that "that test was likely a coverup for my newness.", implying he's calling me scum here, I defend. Let me get the post and I'll put it here for proof.

I think newness was more of him brushing you off and being like, "lol yeah no you're new you don't know what you're talking about", but considering the thought that went behind this, I'm impressed. Gonna go look back at Daniel's initial post for context.

I know this sounds kinda nitpicky of me, but can you paragraph your stuff? I had a hard time trying to understand what you were saying there.

@Ah I think he was referencing that the Dad suspicion was unwarranted.

Yeah huh... so Daniel kind of dismissed someone's sudden change in voting behavior as them being a noob without looking into it at all, which implies that it would have been a noob move (mistake) to vote for Dad in the first place. And yet he's consciously there voting Dad... I don't like that. I don't like that at all.

Pre-empts day-start, is wishy washy while trying to get others to talk.

Lack of commitment.

Mafia often have the need to say things. So they'll often talk very shortly after the day starts if they're around. Not a reliable read but it's a good way to start discussion going.

And the rest of the posts I hope I don't have to spell out why they're meh.

Whether or not my reasons are good? You can debate that.

... But please at least check to see if I've answered the question yet or not.

@Trojan I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm suspicious of you for:
1) You were kinda hypocritical when you just blatantly asked for suspicions, without offering any of your own
2) The Dad vote. You still haven't clarified why scumhunting is suspicious, and I think you ought to explain that before saying that your vote is justified.
3) *NEW* You're piggybacking off of Daniel like hell. Unless you have a damn good reason why Pusheen and Rune are town, then both your biggest suspicion and your two biggest town reads mirror his. You were the one who replied second both times, and since you both sharing suspicions seems so unlikely, that makes me think you're trying to blend in.

I think you ought to give your own reads. Who's suspicious, who isn't. And no piggybacking - I want to hear your actual opinion without you clutching onto Daniel like a lifeline.

Oh, also forgot another thing: Trojan said that he doesn't think anything Daniel has done has been suspicious, yet he hasn't really said anything against the people who're casting suspicion on Daniel. More minor compared to point three, but still rubs me the wrong way.

My brain is basically pudding right now (when is it not, really), so let's dive in head-first.

Stand out scum-read right now: Call me Daniel. What are you doing? Dad pushed you, as Dad does to all of the newbies, and you crumbled. It feels like when you try to post something useful, it has a 'but I'm not sure, it's D1, etc.' clause attached to it, as if you're trying to cover all of your bases. Then, you jumped onto Tom's ludicrous suspicions? What? Then, backpedal. As far as I can tell, despite multiple people asking you, you still haven't given a proper scum read on anyone at this point. It's just a lot of smoke, mirrors, and small talk.

I really want to hear more from...

• Capella: Came in, said hi, didn't answer Dad's question on who they thought were scum, left.
• Pusheen the Cat: Said nothing but:
• Runeraider: The whole messing with Trojan thing is fine. But I am curious about what you think of Dad, since you said this......and other than that, have said hardly anything at all, least of all who you think is scummy. Feels off to me.

Like I said before, the only way people can crusade against me right now is to disenfranchise my scumhunting by bringing up the possibility that I'm just using it to try and get townread. And here you go doing it. And that's 3 people taking that stance already even though making a decision to lynch me would require more revelations and interpersonal alignments in the thread becoming more apparent. Doubting me is alright, but when doubting me is all you're doing while ignoring a lot of the other things that are going on in the game, then it's weak stance taking.

I mean to be honest iirc you have a pretty bad time as mafia and making plays to sacrifice team mates who come under the slightest bit of suspicion. Poor planning and communication with the rest of the team tends to lead to Mafia's downfall under Dad's supervision. The only other reason it fails is because scum team is way to obvious.

On another note, Tom and Dad are both fairly experienced mafia players. It would honestly not surprise me if the two of them were mafia goons or a useless mafia role like a framer and were bussing each other (bussing is a term that means two members of mafia pushing each other for lynch, in the hopes that when one does get lynched, the other appears more like town)

Me and Dad bussing each other would be a fairly stupid move, I think many experienced players would see this coming a mile away. Bussing is no good when it comes to experienced players, better to bus newbies and bad players than experienced.

Is this directed at me or...? I ron't really get it.

A) What would be your counterarguement to them being off topic leads to them not wanting to put their opinion out there and because they hesitate to put down their thoughts pertaining to the game, they're scummy?
B) Tom's been playing around quite a bit. Why Pusheen and Rune, when Tom fits that criteria better?

Not sure you understand the context of Tom's little day 1 campaign against me. But to explain it, in the last game justice hosted Tom was mafia and did this to me day one, and it turned out that he was actually mafia attempting to use it to gain my trust and make me think he was town for reaction testing with me. He also used it as a way to not be on the Dolby lynch and seem not guilty for lynching town. Can't remember if he's done this to me in another game since but it's a reoccuring thing with him.

He's more or less trolling these days. Experience doesn't always mean improvement. I mean, consider how many games Capella has played here.

I mean to be fair, I really though Dolby was a lazy lynch on town's part. Literally none of you wanted to keep him around to target scum, you just wanted the bus driver dead. He's such a smart player.

I'm not sure that Daniel is experienced enough to know how to bus effectively tbh.
