Mafia DA:I Mafia

@Ender: If you feel like you're going to be lynched that means you'll die and no longer be participating in the game, so why vote? Not like you're going to get modkilled if you're going to die from a lynch anyways. I might as well read into you trying to protect him with a 'what if', because that's what your last post just game off as.

...not your last post, Ender, post #356. So many ninjas in a minute or two. : |

Not sure who is scummy but I will post a lot more now so do as much investigating as you want lol

Erm Dad. You realise I didn't defend him at all? You realise that my post was not alignment indicative in the slightest? You realise that both scum and town can "give up" with self-votes?

Like, okay, point out where I was protecting him or saying that made him town. I was clarifying that I believed your comment on the reasoning for self voting was out.

Like seriously can people stop putting words in my mouth when I didn't say em. Both Sarasa AND Dad so far this game, notably.

Can someone give me some scummy Daniel evidence cause I speed read the chat and understand nothing

Basically rather than scum-telling, Daniel has just been EH all game. Nothing really good about his play.

This is why Trojan is scummier in a two line essay.

Trojan you've been really suspicious, that defense there just sates the obvious, and pusheen isn't involved whatsoever.

Alright, finally got access to a computer.

@Daniel These are my reasons:

1) The conversation at the beginning of the day still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Claiming to try to get town reads by being 100% off topic is eh. Not to mention you said you'd do it by making people get friendly with you, which... that sounds too much like you're trying to make allies rather than figure out what's going on.
2) The suspicion of Dad. Your reason (correct me if I'm wrong) is that Dad's been scumhunting, and because he has the capacity to lie, you think he's mafia. By that same logic, that would put Ender and me (and prob Labelle) under your scum category. Not to mention the suspicion in of itself lacks logic; how is someone having the ability to lie make them the most suspicious person out there?
3) Your reasoning for townreading Trojan rubbed me the wrong way. Because he was cool with you, you were cool with him? Again, that sounds like you're fishing for allies rather than the truth.
4) The dismissal of Ah's tactics. When he let go of his suspicion of Dad, you said his tactics were noob-like, implying that suspicion was bad in the first place. Not to mention if you so vehemently believed in Dad's guilt, you never asked for his reasoning for going around and voting/unvoting, which strikes me as odd.

I'll type more when I can, but the bell just rung so I gtg
In a nutshell. Pretty sure other people have different reasons though, like I didn't really see him saying that he didn't have suspicions at the beginning of the game as that suspicious, but other people did.

My point is you don't have to self-vote if you're Daniel in this scenario, forum mafia doesn't get stalled like epicmafia where self voting is indeed done by both town and mafia. What comes off as possible protection of Daniel is that you're making it seem like self-voting is a popular means of giving up when on tbt it honestly isn't. I mean, it could be because you're coming from somewhere else, but still. On tbt when somebody is getting lynched they either vote or have voted for somebody else or they just don't vote at all. Rarely does one self-vote as a means of giving up on tbt.

And by that second sentence I mean you're coming off as giving him a huge benefit of the doubt.

Umm. Well I wasn't even talking about EM. I was talking about forum mafia from other forums I've been on.

Then let me make it clear. I'm not defending him. I was clarifying that I thought your analysis on his self-vote was inaccurate.

How can you judge the accuracy of the analysis when it's not a clear situation?

At this point it's not a joke vote anymore. Trojan is acting really scummily. Although I do believe that Daniel has a large chance of being mafia, all that's he's really done is fall for AhPow's bait. He hasn't been the only one jumping on to bandwagons either. Consider this post.

And now he's voted for Daniel to get the vote for him off his back. Complete 180.

The problem with trying to put up a case against him though is that he's said practically nothing of value. All he's done is bantered and talked about non-relevant fluff. Daniel, on the other hand, has actually been trying to do something in the game and scumhunt. Trojan's behaviour is a classic case of newb mafia trying to look like they're active, but really only bantering every hour or two.

Boom. Case thing. And you guys thought I wasn't gonna try and d1 again.

And just before LaBelle or someone comes on and asks me this, I would be fine with a Daniel lynch as I do think he is mafia, but I am much more confident about Trojan and would rather him be lynched.

So the only thing you have on me is the Daniel vote? Opinions change btw and when I posted the vote against Daniel I didn't really have time to post about it as I was in school. I voted for Daniel because people thought he was mafia so I thought 'oh hey if this guy is mafia I should kill him'. I'm really just doing what everyone else is doing, jumping on the bandwagon and sailing for Atlantic

btw in that forum you were playing in did the day not end until everyone voted or something?

You seemed pretty definite about "WHY" he self voted. And I thought Daniel's comments were fairly obvious so I was thrown a bit when you didn't even include it in your comments on it.

btw in that forum you were playing in did the day not end until everyone voted or something?

Nah people just used it as a "I give up". They usually made posts of who they found suspicious, but with newer players it wasn't such a big thing if they didn't.

You had an opinion, which apparently changed, but you clarify that you voted for Daniel because that's what everyone else was doing? Okay, so what happened to that opinion of yours in your decision making?
