How many of you guys use dark mode on your phone/tablet/computer?

I personally use it everywhere, wherever possible. All the apps I have that allow dark mode have it enabled. I also have the Dark Reader extension on both my desktop and laptop, as well as my phone's browser, which makes basically every webpage a dark color. That's why when I post screenshots from this forum the bg is a dark brown instead of a light tan. I have some sensory issues and those include sensitivity to light and sound, so being able to have dark mode is really helpful :)

Also just a heads up, if you use Discord on Android go on there and tap the "Dark" setting 10 times, and then you can unlock what I like to call Discord ultra dark mode :D

I use dark mode on most things when possible, although there are times when dark mode doesn't look good on something at all.

in general I prefer to have things in dark mode just for the sake of my eyes (particularly looking at you, discord) but on occasion I leave things on light mode if it looks better. one thing I do have though is a setting on my laptop to shift to more orange light at night, so anything in light mode seems less intense at night which is usually when it bugs me the most

I love dark mode! I’ll opt for it whenever I can. I use it even during the day time just because I find it easier to look at and it’s better for my battery.

I also love the night mode settings on my phone/laptop that makes everything that warmer hue at night time! Makes it easier for my eyes. 🥰

When given the choice, I'll rarely use dark mode and choose to use light mode instead, since it's what I'm used to and it tends to be more visually pleasing for me. The only place where I opt for dark mode over light mode is Discord, since their light mode is an abomination to the world.

I am another "sometimes" user. I do prefer dark mode in most cases but there are some instances where I find dark mode to be annoying in its own way. I like a dark mode that uses grey text, I find that when apps use a super bright white text on the black background it is just as irritating as light mode (instagram on my phone is guilty of this).

i use dark mode on everything where possible. youtube, instagram, discord, reddit, twitter, tumblr, my switch lite lmao. it's just easier on the eyes, especially at night, which is when i tend to be awake.

I've tried dark mode a few times on different things, but I always end up switching back to light mode. I think dark mode looks so good on other people's devices but then it just doesn't feel right when I try to use it. I don't know why. Neither one bothers my eyes, so I guess it's just what I'm used to.

dark mode is just better, plain and simple. i have to be looking at my pc a lot for what i do and dark mode really helps, its nowhere near as hard on the eyes as pure white pages are. the only thing i have to turn off dark mode for is pdfs lol, they come out horrible in dark mode

I use dark mode on certain devices when I'm looking at things in the evening but on other devices I have the brightness pretty low, its still high enough for me to see things fine, but it stops me getting any headaches or eye strain from staring at the glaring light for too long.

I use it sometimes to make it easier for my eyes, especially when it's getting dark out. I also use warm lighting on my devices so I don't have a hard time sleeping during the night lol.

I don't use dark mode. Anymore, anyway. I actually stopped using it a few days ago. No particular reason why, though.

i don’t use dark mode nor have i ever tested it out. i’m used to light mods and am okay with it so i don’t feel the need to switch. :’)

I use dark mode everywhere and I hate when websites and app changes suddenly back to light mode. Once I get used to an app in dark mode there's no turning back lmao

I use dark mode on most everything that I can. I had a brain injury and I still deal with light sensitivity and visual issues due to it. Sometimes the add-ons don't convert some sites very great which is troublesome (this site being one for the add-ons I've tried). I wish all sites would go dark mode option (with light of course still an option too).
