I mostly use dark mode on everything but there are some things I used light mode on just because there wasn't a dark mode option before or I never switched to it. Like for outlook, I used light mode on it for years and then tried switching to dark mode and my brain couldn't handle the switch well. I also don't look at outlook all the time unlike other software so I don't mind the brightness of it.

I have always hated the strain on my eyes due to screens so the rollout of more operating systems, software, apps etc. with dark mode has been a godsend. Both my phone and laptop have been set to dark mode. Individual apps I also set to dark mode when it's available.

i personally really hate dark mode. i understand the benefits and all, but i wouldn’t be able to stand looking at a dark screen all day. imo, light mode is so much more aesthetically pleasing!

I love dark mode and always turn it on when it is offered. I recently downloaded a dark mode extension for chrome on my laptop but have yet to try it out since I am use to using safari

I don't have a browser extension, but I try to use dark mode when the site gives the option. I prefer dark mode because I have a lot of eye floaters which show up more on light backgrounds like this site

If it's a choice between light and dark mode and if a dark mode is available, I go with the dark mode whenever possible.

Same! I use it everywhere, when I get an app with light mode it just kills my eyes!
My phone and home laptop are in night mode, but the only place i can't use night mode is my work pc. Does anyone know why?
our manager uses some software for all computers like SysGauge, employee monitoring worktime

I use dark mode on some things but not others. I find it kind of hard sometimes to read white against black and if the font size isn't big enough it trips me up. Photo editors also trip me up when they're set against black and somehow if I use instagram, for example, with dark mode on I overcorrect the images I want to post. That said I usually use Twitch exclusively in dark mode. I love that spotify is kind of a default dark mode too. I used to use Twitter in dark mode but that kept hurting my eyes. I guess it really depends on what I'm using. I am a chronic migraine sufferer so maybe I should actually try to integrate dark mode more. Something to think about I guess!

I use dark mode on as many things as possible (helps with eye strain), but won't be too upset if there's only a light mode. I hope TBT makes a dark mode soon!

ever since i discovered the creepypasta wiki's white text on a black background i haven't been the same. i get sad when apps /don't/ have a dark mode

I use a mixture of dark mode and light mode depending on what it is I’m using it on.

Dark mode everywhere all the time. I have dark reader installed and I love it!

If dark mode was default on somethin, like Discord, I use that. I did make my Twitter on dark mode cause one night I had the lights off and I was browsing on my phone with the screen brightness all the way down, but it was still too bright for me, so I switched to dark mode and haven't gone back. Althou sometimes I wish there was a darker mode.

Tumblr is already kinda dark, there is a black dark mode but I don't really like it. I'm not sure if tbt had a dark mode that I'd use it. Maybe at like night and stuff when I'm on my phone with no lights on when I shouldn't be.

Also, does YouTube have a dark mode setting? Besides tbt which doesn't really count, that's the only other site-thing I can think of that I don't use on dark or not-blinding-light mode.

I usually use dark mode but I also have cases where I prefer light mode. Most of the time I have dark mode enabled but my messages and email apps as well as others has light mode on.

I have to use dark mode on everything possible, although dark mode extensions don't really seem to appeal to me. I can't use light mode or if I do I must lower my brightness, my eyes are very sensitive and light mode hurts them very much.

I recently switched to dark/dim mode on a lot of websites since I was having some annoying eye strain issues, and I'm surprised to find I actually like it a lot better visually speaking, but I still don't use it everywhere. (I definitely prefer dark modes that use a nice dark grey/blue background instead of black, though it's nice when both are options.) I thought I still wasn't using dark mode on a lot of my devices, but I just remembered I've been using it on my laptop since forever because I liked the color options better.
