Since the Nintendo Switch automatically adjusts for Daylight Savings time, do you think ACNH will have Daylight Savings Time as well?

In games past, you had to manually adjust console time, as DST was not part of the game. But now I think this will be part of Animal Crossing.

It depends. Not all countries adjust their clocks for daylight savings time. The question now is, how would the game work out if it was implemented? For example, villagers would get confused on what time it is, have their sleep schedules messed up, etc. But as days get longer and eventually shorter again, I'm curious if dayllight hours in the game will fluctuate depending on the time of year and hemisphere.

I dont think so

I highly doubt that this is gonna happen, because you either would have to pre-set that or it would have been based on your location and this would probably create a logistical problem. But even if so, that would kinda create a discrepancy between islands in case of fishing etc.

Hmmm. Good question. I wonder how time will work overall. Especially when traveling with the switch and time zones.

This never affected me to begin with tbh so idk how it would be different now.

Very unlikely, since many countries don't observe Daylight Savings. Japan certainly does not. In the US, Arizona doesn't observe DST and California voted recently to keep the state in permanent DST hours (still needs to be approved by Congress), so it's kind of difficult to work with.

animal crossing follows the system clock so if your system changes so will the game assuming you aren't tting
