Winter has consistently been one of my least favorite seasons, although I do not hate it, basically because there are very few things to do, very few bugs to catch or very few fish to fish, in my opinion. The fact that Nintendo decided to patch holidays in via regular updates this iteration doesn't help either. I love the looks and the snow, though.

I like it at the beginning because of Christmas (toy day) and New Year’s Eve but I definitely start to get sick of it pretty quickly. I like the green grass better lol. It’s pretty for sure but the white just makes everything so cold (i know it’s winter lol so that’s what happens) but when I’m cold in real life I don’t want to feel cold in my game too lol

I was expecting to be "meh" about it since while I liked snow in New Leaf, it got to me after a month. For some reason, in New Horizons, I am totally in love! The trees look frosted, the hedges look frosted, the colors stand out perfectly against the snow, the crunch of the snow is wonderful, and everything just looks and feels so cozy.
It probably also helps that sweaters are some of my favorite clothes in the game, so that means I get to wear them all the time! I know I don't have to dress weather appropriate if I don't want to, but I don't really like wearing sweaters in the height of summer.

I'm Indifferent. I mean its cool to look at the first time but it becomes harder to catch a variety of bugs when you're trying to complete the museum
I am probably a minority here. I never experienced winter in real life. So this is something really exciting for me!
I'd count yourself lucky.
Winter can be nice to look at, but it's all around terrible. Freezing temperatures are miserable and torture, and driving in snow is just the worst for the average car. You'll be slipping and sliding everywhere, so you need to drive with extra caution, stay in lower gears, drive slower, and start breaking sooner (You don't want to slide through an intersection or spin around trying to make a turn). Anytime you want to go anywhere you have to spend time dressing in layers and coats, and then lug them around everywhere you go. You also have to spend countless minutes scraping ice off your car windows. Your car will also get super dirty the entire season. I think one of the worst parts is the icy sidewalks though. You have to walk extra slow and pray you don't slip and fall.

Yeah, my island is sort of a cottage core, fall theme, and I really don't color scheme of the snowI'm a little indifferent to it. I think my favorite season so far has been Fall, followed by Summer. Like in real life, snow kind of gets boring for me and it also clashes with the color theme of my town. But! I do love the snow people, especially when I make them with teeny heads/large bodies or large heads/teeny bodies. They look so funny and I like hearing them complain.

you know, i was pretty meh about it in new leaf but i'm really enjoying it in new horizons - more than i thought that i would. i thought that it would be barren and hollow feeling for some reason, but it's really cozy and nice. i wouldn't say that it's my favourite season, however.
Nope - I pretty much hate it. Even more so in New Horizons I'm finding, as there is so much emphasis on outdoor decoration and I just think the white grass makes everything look very meh. It's part of the reason I haven't picked up the game since before Christmas, I'm feeling very uninspired to play when I don't like how my town looks right now.

out of game i do love looking at winter, i love how snow looks and when its falling, however going outside its all cold, and slippery, so i worry when walking or being in the car
in game i also think its pretty, but sometimes it hurts my eyes, and also the flower breeding when it snows is nuts and i dislike it

Winter is ok I don't mind it
I like it more than autumn but it does not snow in my country so I can not relate to seeing it in real life
I only really enjoy Spring and Summer in game

In the beginning I was kind of put off by it because I missed the green of spring.
But now I realize that winter is one of the best seasons in the game, alongside spring (especially cherry blossom season).
I love the look of the white against the cool-toned pink, blue and purple flowers.
It's easy to work with and things generally look good in the winter, unlike autumn which is my least favorite in the game.

sorry but i've always hated winter in ac games
i find it nice and cozy irl, when i can snuggle up in a blanket with hot chocolate
however in animal crossing the snow looks horrible, i don't like the winter clothes and everything about it bothers me
if we could choose the weather, i would make it spring year round because i love the green grass and trees ♡

I don't particularly like it, but I don't flat-out hate it either. I prefer spring/summer colors as they work better with my island's theme and the greenery just looks better overall imo.
Winter does come with some appeal though: namely the look of the sky at night during a gentle snowfall, being able to see your breath as you walk, and the trees/fences look lovely topped with snow.

I like all the seasons, but I gotta say, Woodland looks WAY prettier in winter then I expected- and I expected it to be super pretty! But it's totally gorgeous and I love it. I also love seeing all the little villager running around in snow gear when it snows. When it isn't snowing, I've been gifting everyone warmer clothes to wear. I'm just really enjoying it, basically, lol. I also always love snowboys! They feel way easier to make in this game then in ACNL. Basically, winter is my favorite season IRL, and I love it in Animal Crossing games, too! But it seems EXTRA pretty in ACNH. My forest in particular is fab. Heck, even my secret beach/pirate-y overlook looks WAY better then I expected! Lol, I could go on and on apparently

I love the winter in this game! The stuff we can build this time of the year just goes so well with it all, and it looks like a winter wonderland! But I wouldn't be surprised if I start getting rather sick of it by the end of this month. It's alright, though, because guess what? We get wayyyyyy more time of green and fresh than we do white, crisp, and clean.

I really like how gorgeous winter looks in this game. At night, if you look closely at the snow, there are tiny circles that can reflect light ever so slightly. The big game changer for me is the colour of the leaves on the trees. In New Leaf at least, you had to put up with orange leaves and to a muddy green colour halfway through the season which clashed with the snow. In this game, the leaves are very bright blue aside from the pine trees which compliments the ground perfectly in my opinion.
