I'd count yourself lucky.

Winter can be nice to look at, but it's all around terrible. Freezing temperatures are miserable and torture, and driving in snow is just the worst for the average car. You'll be slipping and sliding everywhere, so you need to drive with extra caution, stay in lower gears, drive slower, and start breaking sooner (You don't want to slide through an intersection or spin around trying to make a turn). Anytime you want to go anywhere you have to spend time dressing in layers and coats, and then lug them around everywhere you go. You also have to spend countless minutes scraping ice off your car windows. Your car will also get super dirty the entire season. I think one of the worst parts is the icy sidewalks though. You have to walk extra slow and pray you don't slip and fall.
