Did you like the new IT movie?

I normally hate remakes but I do want to see the new IT at some point, as much as I like the original I've always been curious to see a movie adaptation that follows the book more closely (no idea if this new one does or not). I gotta say though I'm not a big fan of Pennywise's updated look, it's too obvious they were trying to make him creepy - which makes no sense in the context of the story because the clown guise is supposed to be able to lure kids but I've never met a kid who would go near that thing. ;/
Also tbh there are parts of the book that were left out of the first movie that I hope get left out again this time around.

Glad they left out the orgy scene from the book loool.

i have only seen parts of it because my friend watched it when we were at another friend's house. i have never gotten the appeal of horror movies and IT doesnt seem to be better than other films in the genre.

I never read the book so I don't have a thorough opinion on it, but I didn't really enjoy it it was too long for me and they never really explained how "IT" came to life? like why / how did it come to exist? idk, it wasn't all that scary to me either and just had creepy and unpleasant parts

I havent seen it yet (heh), but i got to see the original version and it did scare the spoop out of me...
