Did you Pre-Order ACNH? If so the Physical Copy, or the Digital Code?

I don't know why i haven't yet, but I imagine i will because its the game I'm most hype for at this point lol

I always prefer a physical copy. Only time I get digital copies is if that game is super cheap, there was an online sale, or I got it free through a promotion. Things like that.

I didn’t pre-order it, nor do I have any plans for pre-ordering. I may get it when the game comes out.

I already pre-ordered it in the physical version because I just like them better and it has a cool aesthetic

I'm waiting to see if they release it as a bundle with an AC themed switch.
Personally, I really don't like having to pay another 100 just for a different looking switch. I wish they went the new Nintendo 3ds route in Japan. We should pay for covers, not for systems. But if you want to buy it, if it even happens, then be my guest.

I wouldn't bother if it was just a decal, but a different color scheme would be alright.

Bundles are usually cheaper anyway, and it will be my first switch.

I'm gonna preorder the physical version closer to the date so I can see if there are any bonuses included or any nice deals

I haven't pre-ordered it as I want to see if there's a bundle since I don't have a Switch yet.

I went back and forth on this, but finally settled on pre-ordering a physical copy. I've always had a cartridge of AC games, and I'll be working that day, anyway. It'll be waiting for me when I get home, so I can start that night and play over the weekend.

Yep, just in case I happened to forget for whatever reason or I cannot make my way out to get the physical version. I have never played a physical game on release day before, so it will be interesting!

I still haven't decided whether to preorder it or not, I tend to buy used games to have a smaller impact on the planet, but AC is probably the only game tempting me to break my rule. We'll see!

We have pre-ordered 1 physical copy in our local games shop. That'll be for playing on the Switch - so primarily for my other half.
I'm waiting on a bundle for my pre-order.. I really hope they announce that soon!

No. But when I buy it, it will be a physical copy. As always. I would never buy digital.

it is currently not available to preorder in Australia, so i am anxiously awaiting the day i can walk over to EB and preorder it wiht out the $100 placeholder price, cos im keen for animal crossing but im also broke rip

Yes it is. ^_^

I've just seen it at four different places for pre order.

Harvey Norman.
Gamesmen
JB Hi-Fi and EB Games.

I'm still waiting to see if maybe we get a special Animal Crossing edition of the actual Switch itself. I don't think there's any problem with games staying in stock in this day and age, so unless there's some sort of exclusive involved for pre-ordering, I'll just grab it the first place I see it. :p

I'm waiting a little while longer before i pre-order it to see if I want to purchase it. (like I did with BOTW in 2017)

Nope. My plan is that, on the day it comes out, my day will go like this: Wake up, go to school (or stay home if I get sick or it's during spring break, which was in march for me last year), get home, go on the E-Shop and get the game, do my (hopefully minimal) homework while it's downloading, and start playing right after my homework if it's done.

Haha! Love that you have a plan.
I'll probably plan my day out nearer the time too. I want the day alone all to myself, no one talk to me! (Just kidding of course, but I actually have considered booking the day off work lol!)

I still need to buy a Switch, which is looking more likely to be bought when the game releases. So in the meantime I can just continue to tuck money aside.

Hopefully them come out with a Switch/Animal Crossing New Horizons Package!
