Ehh, I don't really have a preference for fruit, oranges are cute, so are peaches apples are a nice staple. Pears and cherries are probably bottom tier so I wouldn't reset for fruit but I have to reset till I get a map I love
When I pick it up in a couple hours (aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA) I'll be resetting for river ends at the west and south, a resident services in the middle of the island (positioned a bit lower than exactly centered), a yellow or orange airport, and either cherries, peaches or oranges.
my ideal island would be peaches, double south or southwest river mouths, two non-ugly starters, and a non-green airport, but i'm super open to change so i'll maybe reset to get two of these things!! who knows, i might be too excited and just take whatever i get first try!
I haven't played yet, but I am likely going to reset for a good map + fruit I like. It will prevent me from wanting to later if I regret my choices just because I'm excited to play.
I'm probably not going to reset based on the villagers I get.
I think I'm more likely to reset for the airport colour or native fruit....but even with the fruit it's something I could change later anyway. Visually at least.
(and it could be possible to change the airport colour, I mean it's arguably just a paint job)
I think my main focus is on getting a map layout I like with the resident services located in a good spot. Apparently Resident Services can't be moved so that'll be a big one that I'll want to get in a good place.
I've been thinking of resetting to get at least one starter villager that I really like but I also hope I don't have to...
Villager hunting is what kind of ruined the fun of New Leaf for me.
I plan on resetting for oranges - I also want the orange airport, but it would probably take forever resetting for both, so I’ll probably just settle for oranges lol.
It took me five hours to get an island with peaches, yellow airport, west- south river mouths and resident services right ahead of the airport.
Well worth it though.
If airport color determines the color of some items you get, then I guess I'm resetting for the green airport. Villagers I don't mind since you can invite them with cards, and fruit I'm not super duper picky about, but I do want two south rivers.
