I heard that items like the gamecube can only be obtained by nintendo from 2010 as downloadable content. How can i get the stuff i missed out on and the new stuff coming out?

You will need Wireless internet.

Then talk to Rover at the start of the game, and click either "Before Playing" or "Something else" or something like that. You will then find an Option for Wii Connect 24, click this and turn it on. For information on upcomming DLC's, they can be found here
