No offense but I think it's pretty funny some people insist climate change is a scam. Like, alright, just don't take the facts and statistics seriously, buddy.

Even if you don't believe in climate change, whatever. It's a fact that using too much water or non-recyclables is bad for the earth. It's common sense. So whether you think we're slowly killing the earth or not, that shouldn't stop you from trying to save the earth anyway. You don't need to wait for something bad to happen to start doing something about it.

Of course, just look at the photos of the arctic 20 years ago vs now. It's scary.

Duh. Although I will say I think we should focus more on overall pollution tied to energy usage and farming methodology in regards to CO2 pollution causing global warming, since there's a lot of contributing factors, and I think there's a bigger picture to be seen about why it's such a huge problem. It's really sad that we're trashing our only planet- if we overheat and burn to death we deserve it tbh.

Also, in regards to some of the comments in this thread... Older generations were taught that global warming and pollution are total BS and their parents and their parent's parents instilled old-world ideologies in them that most would consider invalid today. Remember, these are the same people that are typically lgbt-phobic, anti-Muslim, etc. and dyed-in-the-wool in regards to political beliefs. Calling them stupid, ignorant, etc. is not helpful because these people can't help it. They were taught to believe this way, and they've believed it for many decades. What we should be doing is educating the older generations by using examples that relate to them instead of hard scientific evidence, because most younger people tie "belief" to hard-core facts (I mean, look at all the people in this thread saying "WTF it's not belief it's a fact), while older generations tend to tie "belief" to what they've experienced themselves-- and most probably are too old or don't care enough to have paid attention to global warming happening around them. So I don't believe that just pushing info out there is going to be helpful, those old mother******* need burnt like my toast before they believe anything imho. 🤡 But that means we burn too so I guess we're doomed

They're like Archie Bunker, I say. He didn't realize he was a racist.

The people who ignore Climate Change are (excuse my language) stupid. How can you simply say it is not happenig when new heat and cold indexes are being reached all arounf the world? How can you simplly ignore that the glaciers are melting all around the World? How can you ignore all the Extreme weather conditions, All the hurricanes happening right now and for the past years, the wildfires? These naturula disasters have taken peoples life and they choose not to aknowledge why? Do they just not want to do smthing to change the world, to stop it, or are they to afraid to say they were wrong. It is selfish to not aknowledge Climate change, and do little things to help perserve Earth for future generations.

Yes. Though if it's one thing I dislike about activism/movement it's those rabid hivemind people who have no sustainable solution whatsoever. No it's not a prime idea these days to take trains all the way down to Cape Town if you live in Europe, and what we need to do is do research about better plane fuel for example. Also you can't plant avocados in all parts of the world so we're still gonna have to get those to countries and people are not gonna wait a month just for it to arrive by boat.

Absolutely. There's nothing to believe in anyway, it's real, fact and happening right now.

seriously though who voted no 😂 there are so many comparison photos showing how the ice caps are melting over the years & there's a ton of evidence of the Earth's average global temperature rising. Im literally making plans to completely alter my lifestyle when I have to provide for myself in order to be more sustainable in the ways that I consume food and materialistic items.

It scares me how in denial people are about the situation. We have probably damaged our planet beyond repair or are very close to it. Icebergs are melting at an alarming rate, and Antarctica is slowly disappearing. The world we are living will probably not be the same if we don’t act soon. Me and my family do a lot to help the environment, like recycle anything we can, compost food that probably shouldn’t be thrown away, and keep our garbage to minimum. Even though it’s really hard to do those things when you live in a big city, climate change is real and we should try and do more sustainable things for our environment!

Climate change is real. There is overwhelming scientific evidence that climate change is both happening now and largely driven by anthropogenic causes (e.g. burning of fossil fuels).

As much as I want to say that all five "no" votes are trolls, I don't think that's true.

Don’t know why I voted and didn’t post, but yeah, climate change is real. I do my best to help by recycling and keeping garbage to a minimum, but it‘s still scary how much we’ve damaged the world.
