Do you believe in ghosts?

Nope. 100% no from me.

It was always a no from me, however personal experiences as a child / teen push me even further that way. Definitely not.

never had any paranormal experiences, so until then, not really?

I thought there already was a thread about this.

I was usually only scared of the mythical creature "Slender" (and ghosts underneath my bed) But I've learned to get over it. Nowadays, I'm just scared a serial killer will come into my unlocked room ;-;

Yep. I also make sure to check underneath the bed and in the closet for mosters.

Yes, and I've been fortunate (?) enough to have had a number of experiences with them. It kinda got rid of any fears I had.

I didn't until I saw these videos:

A guy goes into a old Abandoned mine, its weird because you can see that its sunny outside but as soon as he enters you can see its cold. Also the chain hanging on the ceiling should not be moving like how it is.

The second video is just as spooky (Same guy and same mine just a year later) the guy decides to leave because of what happens near the end (Turn up the volume and you can hear a voice and sirens)

My family has a history of communicating with spirits. My great grandfather held seances and he was at my mum's graduation despite having been dead for a few years at that point. My grandma and I can both sense strange energies and restless spirits. I can't go near graveyards or some old buildings because of it.

I definitely do! I don't want to see any, though. The weird vibes are enough.

Ghost movies scare me but I don't believe in them. : ) it's all in my mind.

No. It's not just a generic disbelief thing. I've been to a bunch of places that are supposedly haunted, some places even said to be haunted with very violent/evil spirits, and I've never seen or felt anything. This includes stuff like cemeteries (including the Chinese Cemetary in Manoa, Oahu Hawaii), war battlefields, and places common for suicide (I've been to the famous "Suicide Forest", Aokigahara, in Japan).

Speaking of Aokigahara, I actually did see a couple of dead bodies of people who had committed suicide there. No joke. But again, I didn't feel or see any sort of supernatural presence. It was actually an extremely beautiful place, ignoring the dead bodies part.

Nope, I don't. But I'm never gonna try to prove or disprove myself wrong in the future.

Yeah, not as creepy things (unless you get to see them very sudden then yes they can come off as creepy lol) but more spiritual beings among us I guess?

Not in like the horror movie sense lol. At home we still light incense and put out food for our ancestors every day though.

Yes, I do. I've lived with a few and my current home has one that comes and goes periodically. It doesn't show itself, visually, but the room will fill with the scent of lilac. I'm pretty sure it's a relative, who just looks in to make sure everything's okay.

i love to entertain the idea, personally. i'm a bit of a skeptic but i love to believe in it for fun and i LOVE supernatural/paranormal themed things.

i have had a couple of "ghost experiences" though:

1. i was staying in savannah, ga (known to be one of the most haunted towns in the us) in a hotel called the marshall house. this is a hotel that's like 150ish years old, was once used as a civil war hospital, and known to be haunted + a frequent stop for ghost tours. anyways, we stayed there for the week, and my dad and i were standing in the hallway on probably the 2nd or 3rd floor. the building was old so the floors were uneven, and the hallways were long and narrow with carpet along the middle. we were standing looking down the hall as we talked, and my dad was even saying how it almost looked like you were expecting to see the little kids from the shining standing at the end.
then i felt a tap on my left shoulder. that side of me was closest to the wall, and it wasn't my dad that tapped me either. there was nobody else there and i doubt it was any part of my clothing moving, since it was pretty flat against my shoulder and i wasn't really moving. but yeah, i was tapped on the shoulder by a ghost in the haunted hotel

2. my family lives in my great-grandparents' old house, and my brothers' old bedroom is now what my mom likes to call the antique suite, where she puts all the antique furniture that we don't want out elsewhere lmao. but among those things is a very tall old wooden four-poster bed, hand carved and everything. it's somewhere between 100-200 years old and was thought to have been built by slaves (according to.. someone that was hired to look at it at some point, idk, before my time lmao). but yeah, an old house with a room w/ a bunch of even older stuff.
but once i was just laying on that bed on my stomach with my legs hanging off the side (keep in mind that it's like, 3.5 feet off the ground) just kind of chilling on my phone. then i felt a very distinct sort of like, blow on my foot? like a draft or something. at first i thought it was a cat sniffing me, but there wasn't a cat on the bed and one on the ground wouldn't be able to reach my foot since it's so high up from the floor. then i thought that it was maybe the AC, but the vent was all the way across the room.
that's not really anything tbh, but i like to count it

i'm more of a believer than skeptic i guess, but i still feel like i'm a bit of both. maybe they're real, maybe they're not.

realistically, scientifically, there's no valid proof of ghosts. so thinking objectively, i wouldn't believe in them.
but like i said, i love to entertain the idea of them and i love the topic when it comes to media, stories, etc. big fan of that stuff.:D

i even have a friend (we're both big fans of buzzfeed unsolved) that determined to find a way to prove the existence of ghosts with science. so i'm rooting for her!
also, apparently her family tends to have like, psychics. like, her dad and sisters apparently can see ghosts/demons/shadow ppl n **** i dunno. i don't know much about it but from what i've heard it seems kinda legit to me.

Yes, definitely Though I've never seen one I do get weird vibes from some places.
Despite the fact that my mom say that ghosts don't exist I'm still a firm believer.
