Do you believe in magic? [Roleplay] - Open and New

{{ Alright, I've finally seemed to have gotten my life sorted out, as well as the front page. Everyone should be updated, so if I have not directly accepted you simply peer at the front page. If you have any concerns or questions, please pm me!

I'm also going to be opening up a Bulletin board on the front page, where my characters are so that I and everyone else will be able to keep up to date with what is happening in this role-play. Some of us have stuff to do and will be bouncing on and off, and EVERYONE deserves to be included.

So, without further ado, I post my reply.
I hope you all don't mind my taking complete control of the situation for a second [this post only], since I kind of need everyone on the same page pfff.

Hitman are in the forest, Rogues are being rogues and probably interacting with one another either in the cities/towns/kingdoms/whatever or are spying, and Members of Covens are most likely in a meeting discussing what is to happen and taking their course of action.
Everything else is all up to you guys, and I want you to take this role-play to wherever your heart desires! }}

. : : Zombie : : .

The blond's eyes were languidly following the four figures below behind a curtain of bangs and resting comfortably in his hidden place. His cheek was planted in his palm and elbow resting on his thigh as he sat on his haunches. They were talking; he'd been watching them for sometime. One of them, Cupa was her name, had blatantly stated her being a Hitman. The words had made Zombie's lips twitch downwards into a scowl. How could she be so trustworthy with that kind of information? It was almost insulting. He made a mental note in his mind to talk to her.
They were the ones he had recruited. So far they had displayed themselves, if not vaguely. One controlled wind, another shadows, the third blood, and the fourth, the one he'd already known prior, was quite the puppeteer. It was interesting to watch, but it grew old fast, especially when nothing had really come out of it. Suddenly, he gave a smirk.
Why not test these fools?
With a wave of his hand, a seal encrusted itself into the ground below the four hit men. At first it hadn't quite made much, if any impression, until suddenly the ground began to quiver, if only slightly. Before the four even knew it, there was a hideous groan before a morbid, decaying hand unearthed itself from the ground. It took hold of whatever it could, hoisting it's boned and grotesque body from the depths of the Earth. It's jaws were slack, meat and bone hanging lifeless while it's one eye darted about like a fly to a light. The thing was huge - around the size of two people - a compilation of decaying body parts of all walks of life. It let out a heinous groan before he clattered down onto all fours in front of the mages.

. : : Ophelia : : .

She'd been settled at the table before a comment pushed her over the edge. With a grunt she shoved herself to her feet, gloved hands clenching.
"They're murdering people," she breathed. "Do we not understand this? Massacres - towns are disappearing in only a matter of days! There's hardly any survivors, and if there are, they're too critically wounded to even think of telling us who or what these men look like."

Scarlette bit her lip. She winced as the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth. The things these people make me do... I just bit through my lip
Her thoughts were rapid fire and unorganized. All the commotion in the room was causing her head to pound. Too many people, too many thoughts.
It had taken her years to get the mind reading and thought hearing under control. She used to be able to block it out, but with all the new stress, the pressure on her to figure things out, it had gone away. It took every ounce of her strength to get through all the others thoughts and access her own. Her head pounded, and the taste of blood was growing stronger. The girl couldn't get her jaw to let up and release the pressure on her teeth and lip.

Down the table, someone slammed down and stood up. Scarlette jumped and finally looked up. The sudden jolt had cleared away all the sounds in her head, and allowed her to focus, just for a second. The word massacre echoed through her mind. She made eye contact to the girl who had stood up. Blushing, and letting out a small whimper, Scarlette realized that there was blood dripping from her face.

Seeing the zombie rise, I quickly raised a finger, the shadows around my feet quickly turning solid. A large spike went strait towards the zombie's head, skewering it. "Dead stay dead..." I grumbled. Moving closer to it, I tapped it's body with the tip of my sword, checking to see it was still moving.

Nicolas was in town. By the lord he hated everyone here, but he needed some damn food. Angrily, he storms into a store, and purchases large quantities of jerky.

Watching as Cupa impaled the zombie I think to myself Hopefully this, thing, dies quickly and stays that way. This could turn into a mess otherwise. I quickly approach where the zombie lie and prepare myself, glancing at Cupa. A slight frown forms over my face.

Just to be sure it was dead, I impaled the creature several more times, eventually ripping it apart. A small grin appears on my face, but my eyes are cold.

. : : Zombie : : .

His brow quirked. He was unamused.
Much to their dismay, the creature did not remain dead. Instead of dying, it simply reformed itself easily. With a smile, he watched as it let out a hideous shriek and swung, it's claws large and composed of rotting flesh. It's focus was on Cupa, whom it didn't seem to be very happy with.

I stumbled back as one of it's claws made a long cut on my cheek. Growling, my green eyes turned gold. Raising my hand, the shadows danced around me for a moment, before taking the form of the dark creatures from before. "Destroy it." I laughed, sounding as if two people were speaking, one had a male tone to it, the other one mine.

. : : Zombie : : .

The male sighed, looking disinterested, even when the girl spoke. The whole 'double voice' thing was soo cliche to him. Nonetheless, he toyed with the dead creature and had it lose utter interest in the girl, turning towards Silver instead. The girl had looked nervous prior, and now with the deadly thing peering at her with a decaying eye, it would be no doubt she might feel some sort of unease.
The monster lunged forward.

"DIE IN HEEELLLLLLLL!!!!!" I screamed, bolting towards the zombie. Stabbing my sword into it's rotten flesh, I started to twist it, grinning like I was insane as the old blood splattered on me.

Name: Hyun-mi Park (western order)
Nickname: Yunyun-- Though she has various other nicknames, this one is the most common.
Age: Nineteen years of age, Birthdate being March 22nd.
Gender: Female.
Type of Magic: Pyrokinesis; The power of manipulating fire and heat.
She is not only able to create, shape and manipulate fire with her mind-- she can also do simple things such as warming people or even cooking at times.
Coven: Cloven, if that?s okay.

Appearance: Shoulder length, thick brown hair, normally parted in the center and tucked away behind her ears, big, almond shaped brown eyes, a rather pale complexion- a rather lithe figure, really, not much to show, round hips and tiny shoulders.
Prefers to wear multiple layers, skirts with shorts beneath them, comfortable items. Lots of crystal and Zen based jewelry, only wears lipstick and a bit of eyeliner, she rather lazily puts herself together.

Personality: She's normally lost in thought, expression nothing short of drowsy even if she'd well rested, a signature big, goofy grin gracing her cheeks to only add to her quirkiness, she's a bit of a jokester-- she much rather take things lightly then allow them to bother her and eat away at her cheerful disposition, sticks and stones can break her bones but words will never hurt her !!
In a way she's kind of trapped in her own sort of false reality, even with a war raging on around her she's almost blissfully ignorant to it; See no evil, hear no evil, do no evil is her track of mind most of the time, if they personally didn't bring harm to her, she won't bring harm to them and so on in her useless little circle, really, she?s just avoiding as much as she can.

Background: Her life before joining her Coven was a rather simplistic one, raised in privacy in an extremely tiny village; One that was vastly inhabited by wiccans and the sort, a place where she was accepted for her powers and raised learning not only how to control them but to put them for good use (one of those things being baking), as wiccans heavily believe in peace and bringing no living creature harm.
Being raised in such an environment lead her thoughts towards reality to be sort of warped, no one could hurt her and she wasn?t to harm anyone, but she easily found herself growing weary of the same day-to-day routines, she was longing for a way to escape and she did so one night?packing as much as she could fit into a backpack and setting her tiny cottage ablaze, making a break for it as soon the panic began, officially rewriting her own story with a new slate.

Strengths:
✎ Can easily overpower anyone with the ability of air/wind manipulation, as oxygen only fuels fire.
✎ At times she can use her looks to her advantage, nothing sexual- just a mild distraction until she can think of a way to escape.
✎ Very agile, She can easily dodge/avoid certain attacks?or well, run swiftly enough and get the hell out of there and avoid being seen in the first place.
Flaws:
✎ She isn?t immune to the fire she creates, and without handling whatever she is doing very carefully?she can burn herself.
✎ Unconscious use of her power can be catastrophic.
✎ Users with powers such as water manipulation and ice manipulation can easily over power her, as we all know fire doesn?t stand a chance against water.

Theme Song (Optional): Akdong Musician (AKMU) - 200%
Love Interest (Also optional I'm a lame romantic): None as of yet (=?∇`=)

Other:
✎ Her skin is normally very flushed, as it?s her body?s natural reaction to her powers.
✎ She often carries a backpack with her, filled with various items, but most of them are just things to help her pass the time since she is rather restless.
✎ Holy hell does this girl love baking!! She can make cakes, puddings, cookies, anything really, and she?s actually pretty good at it!

ah!! forgive me if her personality and background are rather scattered, normally it takes a bit of rping with the character in order to make them more solid.

{{Accepted, dear!
I'm so happy you could make it. c: }}

. : : Zombie : : .

He quirked an eyebrow. What an odd kid.
The monster didn't quite seem to mind, it's lack of therefore nerves and or even actual muscle function causing it to lack any sort of reaction. It peered over at Cupa, letting out a groan before clawing at her and its own back. Flesh was clawed off of itself and collapsed down onto the ground before dissolving into nothing, the lack of magic possessing it leaving it entirely useless.

. : : Ophelia : : .

The girl grit her teeth. No one was speaking.
"It's as if none of you care," she breathed, looking almost offended. She took note of a woman who had glanced up at her outburst, her lip bleeding. Ophelia's violet eyes hardened and she hummed. "You're wounded," she stated simply.

Grunting, I pulled the blade out of the zombie's back, watching it fall to the ground. Feeling the cut stinging my cheek, I gently felt it with a finger. I could feel the hot blood oozing out of it. "Another thing to patch up... If only you had the ability to heal... I muttered, no longer speaking in two voices, but my own with a strange tone the male voice had. I started to stitch up the large cut with shadowy thread, wincing every time it peirced my flesh.

{ not entirely sure what's going on but hopefully i'm jumping in at the right spot.. }

The meeting room was frenzied with the chatter of Coven members. Jaesung lost himself in the voices, unsure of how to join the conversation around him. The sounds came to a stop, however, once a certain female spoke of the pressing matters concerning them all. He held his hands neat in his lap, looking as attentive as he could. It was chilling to know killers were on the loose going out and ruthlessly murdering innocent townsfolk, yet nothing was being done. They had to do something?he had to do something.
"If we don't know what they look like, how do we know they're not among us? They could be hiding anywhere. Do you suggest we send out parties to hunt them down, 'cause that doesn't sound safe to me if there's a risk they're in this very room," he said with uncertainty.
"I'm not saying we shouldn't try to catch these guys; we totally need to capture them and put a stop to this. We've just got to be careful about how we do it."

She has nice eyes... Scarlette thought, slowly letting up on her lip.
"Yeah..." she murmured, looking back down. Feeling like her mouth had had enough for one day, the red haired girl picked at her cuticles instead. The thoughts from earlier were now back, and she felt like she was drowning. After another minute of the pounding in her head, the girl abruptly stood up, mumbled something no one could understand, and stumbled out.

.:Rin:.

Rin lifted a brow. She only knew one person who had the ability to animate pieces of trash like this creature. He was able to use practically anything to build something living, but, that made it easy for Rin, so, as she watched the girl who made extreme efforts to kill the beast, she sighed, reaching an arm out. Threads emerged from the steel of her gloves and wrapped themselves tightly around the creature to lift it high into the air. She now had possession of its body, her eyes glossing over once her usual paralysis came upon her.
"You can come out now." She spoke, using the creature's voice as her own.

Finishing off the stitches, I moved back over to Rin, quietly standing behind the taller girl. I warily eyed the creature, ignoring the now dried blood from my cheek.

( i hope this isn't too bad uvu ;; )

Lithe fingers drum along the age-worn wood of the table she was seated at, eyes glassy as she puckers her lips?allowing a childish ?pzzzzzzzzzzt? sound to be released from them. ?Yeah, yeah. We need?a catch ?em before even more people get slaughtered, but at the same time we gotta do it without dying ourselves, yep.? Her face was rested on the palms of her hands until she allowed her elbows to sink?cheek pressing against the warmed spot , arms now dangling uselessly at her sides, gaze now focused on nothing in particular.

She was honestly bored. Bored of the same old bickering, do this, do that, stop that, fix that, yadda yadda yadda? honestly, maybe she could just make sweets and slip a bit of rat poison into it, the killers would have to eat sometime, right? No, no. Scratch that. Making a giant wooden cage like in the various children?s books she?s read also seemed very difficult and useless, and it wasn?t like they could find a hundred pianos and drop them onto the criminals either.

?Heh..? A honeyed laugh slips from their rosy confinements and she finds her hands now bashfully being held over her cheeks, eyes slipping closed as she shakes her head; such thoughts were never important at times like this, no matter how amusing.
