If I feel like being correct I will. But when I typing fast, I will shorten/and or forget parts of words bc I'm too lazy to spell things out and rely on auto-correct for everything
sometimes,, i used to be a real stickler for it but now, i don’t really care. granted, my phone does it for me automatically but in the case that it doesn’t for some reason, it’s not really that big of a deal to me - as long as people know what i’m trying to say, that’s all that matters to me aha
if it's a serious discussion and/or if it makes another words that is not the word i intended then yes but when just writing like basement stuff or having casual discord chats then no
i don’t. my phone autos things to be grammatically correct but they way i type things is not lol. proper punctuation just reminds me of school too much- so typing without it makes it feel more casual to me
About half the time. Sometimes I get lazy and don’t bother, and if I’m on my phone it does it for me. But one thing I HAVE to type correctly is your and you’re. I couldn’t live with myself otherwise.
I usually try to but if I miss one, I'm not really bothered to go back and edit! I only go back for misspellings. I approach texts differently. I really don't care then but if I'm typing sentences here online or in an email, I always at least try!
Even when I purposely type carelessly I at least make sure to capitalize proper nouns (wait- is pronouns short for proper nouns?! Am I just now realizing? Eh, maybe not? Maybe not.) and add apostrophes.
I try to do it but my phone is stupid and won't fix ALOT of my mis-typed words. Alot. Just in that 1 sentence above it didn't fix my blantly mis-typed words. I have to go back and fix my typos CONSTANTLY. Sometimes I just won't bother after a certain point. I try to be grammatically correct most of the time but going back and fixing typos/adding punctuation gets annoying when my phone should be doing it in the first place.
if my autocorrect wants me to have an apostrophe there, i wont correct it. in some cases, an apostrophe is necessary for comprehension though ( well and we'll ) and i do go back and edit those words
Most of the time I do since it really bothers me when I see it without it. I'm a little more lax about it on my phone since I suck at typing on it. I used to be really strict with my grammar in chats, but I realized I came off as really intimidating doing that so I stopped. It's hard some negative effects though with more slipups, but worth it in the end.
eh, sometimes i do & sometimes i don't. i don't really care either way. i was an english major in college, you'd think i'd care more about grammar and stuff but i don't lol
