I am far more negative than positive. I'm a very pessimistic person, but I'm also very empathetic, and that tends to compound my pessimism because seeing people being exploited, persecuted, or otherwise generally suffering misfortune makes me feel awful for what they're going through and, in those first two cases, lowers my expectations for humanity and the future because a lot of these problems are preventable. As such, I try to counteract that with positivity, to fulfill that saying "Be the change you want to see in the world." I try to limit harm as much as possible while maximizing happiness and good outcomes. Leave a situation better than it was when you found it, you know?
I'm sure most people would say I'm a pretty positive person and I agree with that. It's not always like that of course, but I do try to keep myself in good spirits and as level-headed as possible.
I voted neither because on the outside I tend to be positive and try to cheer people up, but on the inside I'm, like, constantly freaking out and expecting the worse lol.
I'm honestly very neutral in the grand scheme of things, but I try to be optimistic as well because it makes things more enjoyable and easy-going in the long run.
I voted neither because I feel like I'm very neutral about things most of the time. I'm not nearly as negative as what I used to be, but I'm not overly positive either. When it comes to others though, I feel like I'm very positive and optimistic haha, just not too much for myself.
As much as I think of myself as a cynic, honestly I'm overall a positive person. Even when everything is going to crap, I still try and find a positive light from it.
It's sickening. I wasn't like this in high school.
I am both depending on the situation and what it effects, but overall I'm a negative person. I dwell on the things that stress me out directly too much, and it takes me a while to see the positive side of a situation.
