Do you download or stream music?

i download and purchase when i can. streaming kills my phone battery and i have pretty niche tastes in music so it's easier to download/buy than to stream.

yeah that'd kill my phone too since i have some game apps that does it very well too. i prefer my mp3player since you don't need internet for it other than getting music lol

Normally I'll just stream it with Spotify (and if I can't afford it, I'll download it with an MP3 converter). I still buy CDs of albums I adore. My most notable include (I've highlighted my favourites):
Gorillaz - Demon Days
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Nirvana - Nevermind, In Utero, Unplugged in New York
Paramore - All We Know Is Falling, Riot, Brand New Eyes, After Laughter
Blink-182 - Enema of the State
Green Day - American Idiot
Brand New - Science Fiction

I don't buy music, I just download it online. I download it because I need it for offline listening.

I stream music through Spotify. When I want either Japanese anime music or video game music I use YouTube. I cannot recall the last time I had purchased music and downloaded it.

Download it.

There's enough times I can't connect to the internet to justify it, plus there's so many songs I like that just aren't on any streaming services.

A bit of both. Now that I think of it I probably stream it the most through YouTube, but if I want to update my offline playlists I will download them. I'm trying to give Spotify a shot recently because in the past I've disliked streaming but it doesn't seem too bad.

Spotify mostly, sometimes Youtube

I use Youtube a lot when I'm at home. But recently I've been using Spotify extensively at home and also when I'm away from home, listening to my downloaded music from the application.

I almost exclusively stream music (primarily YouTube and Bandcamp but I made myself get a Spotify recently), but I occasionally buy tracks if they're from artists' that are relatively unpopular and might not be making that much money off their music.

Use Youtube. I want to make a Playlist on there, but for the most part, if I look up one song from a band I like, it'll play all the songs I like. But sometimes I want to experience new music.

This wasn't an option, but I'm still archaic and buy CDs. Now I go to FYE and choose my own songs I like and have a custom made CD.

I couldn't live without my spotify subscription. I play almost every day it in the car and at home.

YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME, COPPERS

me at 12 years old downloading songs off of Youtube to mp3

same here, once i started my first premium trial i couldn't go back to listening to music any other way. it's incredibly convenient and their selection of songs is pretty much unparalleled.

I get most of my music by buying digitally or buying CDs. I only use streaming for finding new music or listening to music I can't yet afford (or isn't available to purchase).

Right now I'm short on money and don't have any iTunes credit, so I'm doing more streaming than I normally do with new songs I would be buying if I had the money. Nevertheless, I really hate streaming for that purpose. Owning my music is 100% better.

i still try to buy everything physically, so whether its burning a cd or using a download code from a vinyl record i buy my music

I still like to buy physical CDs of my music, then I upload it to iTunes to listen to and create playlists. If I can't find a physical copy, like with some less popular foreign music, or if I just want a single song, I might download it. But I don't like streaming my music. I will check out new songs and artists this way, but if I like it enough I always buy it to support the artist.

the real truth is i'm a sociopathic consumer and i don't care about the cost of getting the thing i want to have, and have no concern for a musician's livelihood. i could try and justify it, but even if i couldn't i doubt i'd give up the convenience of streaming
