Do you expect New Horizons to show up in the likely September Direct?

I personally do expect to see it, but only another short trailer with a Direct dedicated to the game early next year. They showed off Yoshi in last year's September Direct which also had a March release date.

I don't think so, it's too early. They've given us a bunch of info already and I feel like the direct will focus more on games that are coming out in the next few months, like the new Pok?mon one. It'd be nice to have some new content but I'm not too hopeful.

Yeah, September will be Pokemon, the next Smash DLC, and almost definitely some more Luigi's Mansion.

Perhaps a *hint* of Animal Crossing.

It would be nice but we also don’t have very good luck in the direct department

Those of you saying no, are you expecting them to stay silent until the new year then? It doesn't make sense to only start properly advertising the game two months before release.

New Horizons themed switch announcement with official date for pre-order in the September direct.

Yup, ACWorld gave me hope talking about Yoshi's crafted world and Kirby.
I really hope we'll see some more footage!
I'm not really 100% confident because Nintendo can't be predicted (at least concerning Animal Crossing apparently...).
I'm hoping for another 1 or 2 minute long trailer, showing us the shops maybe? Or something of the sort.
Since between september and february there wasn't any direct, I think it's kinda safe to assume we'll see some Animal Crossing in there.
We'll also be getting an Animal Crossing one monce prior release probably.

Part of me hopes of course that they will show something, but I'm not sure if it's not too early to talk
about the game again. I could imagine that they maybe gonna release a Animal Crossing Direct either
in December or January to present there the big major information.

I hope...crossed fingers. maybe, we will see a little bit of gameplay. Nintendo like teasing AC fans.

Wouldn't be surprised. I expect the most revealing trailer to come in January or February with a direct dedicated to the game coming in later February.

Maybe we'll get a small trailer, but given we're over half a year out, I wouldn't expect anything more than that. I'd love to be wrong and get some solid info, I'm just not expecting it.

Maybe another small announcement, but I?d rather wait a month or two and get a big piece of information and a console bundle announcement. The game is still months from release, so I?m not expecting a lot yet.

Pretty much. We've had a trailer, we've had half an hour of gameplay, what more is there to say? It doesn't make sense to take up time with a game at this time of year people won't be able to buy for Christmas.

I'd expect an ac direct in either November or January I guess. Not too fussed atm though

Possibly we might see one, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much at the moment. I mean, it would be nice to see some more game play. We will probably see it somewhere after September as right now it's much too early in my opinion.

It still feels a little too early to show off any more than they did back in june. They actually showed off quite a lot. I’m guessing the next direct for animal crossing we’ll get could be closer into the year like november or maybe even early 2020

I hope so. It doesn't have to be anything big. Some new gameplay, a few new returning villagers, that'd be enough to keep me going a few months more.

I don?t. But also, I really don?t see when Nintendo will open the valve on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons news.
