Do you have nicknames? Do you like them?

My only nickname is Ben which everyone uses; no one ever calls me Benjamin. It's okay but I've known so many Benjamins, and all of them also go by Ben of course, so it gets kind of confusing (especially when 90% of the time I hear someone call my name they're talking to the other Ben in the grade). I wouldn't mind having a different nickname to make it more unique (I've seem some pretty nice alternatives I wish I had) but I'd never be able to change it at this point.

I do and I don't like them, they are kinda generic and "ugh".

Sometimes people, mostly my family, refer to me with nicknames and I kinda die inside when I hear it lol. Kind of an exaggeration but yeah, I don't really like my actual name either but I would prefer if people referred to me with it rather than those terrible nicknames.

Although sometimes it's funny tbh.

I had a teacher's assistant that used to call me Katydid.

I HATE what my sister, mom, and dad calls me it just gets annoying and my brother use to call me nicknames but it has been over with now, which I'm happy for to be over but still other family members still calls me stupid names.

my name is victoria but idk how i got the nickname of tori. i feel like that's moreso my name than victoria it's used so much LMAO ppl have called me other things like toto (love that one) but tori is def the most used ! i love nicknames. when i never used my actual name people would call me bright, brightly or brai. all ancient as hell nicknames.

My one friend in school a few years back used to call me “Super Y” and I was never really sure why she called me that. I called her “Super X.” It might have something to do with the versions of the Pok?mon games called Pok?mon X and Pok?mon Y, but that’s probably a stretch. These nicknames were pretty much hilarious, silly and random.

I prefer being called Jo since it's short for Josephine. My family calls me by my full name while my fiance and friends call me Jo or Jojo.
