Do you like spiders?

ecologically they're important and i like that they eat pests however i can't stand seeing them. if i can safely remove one from the home, i'll try to do it but i admit i do kill some of the more difficult to remove ones for peace of mind. i do feel bad though.

I tend to stay away if I can. But jumping spiders are so aforable! I was happy when I got to see one in real life, they are pretty cute

I don't want to touch a spider but they are fine as long as they stay away from me. It's always creepy when a giant house spider randomly appears.

I know they get rid of other pests which is great and all but no, I can’t with spiders (or any bugs). just thinking about them makes my skin crawl. I think I would be ok as long as I don’t know it’s there. but as soon as I see one it’s game over and if no one is around to kill it for me I’d run and get my vacuum and vacuum it up LOL because I’m not going to get close enough to kill it myself and there’s no way I’m just going to let it live it’s best life on my wall while I’m sweating to death just looking at it.

Big NO on spiders irl. Videogames, movies or fiction? No problemo. But on my home or near me? Nope nope nopee
The farthest the better, even the smallest makes me sort of panic (bigger ones is time to move out for me..xD)
Its not very logic since they're not a true threat and weirdly I didn't feel like this when I was younger but I can't help it now *ugh* T3T

I like spiders! I read a book when I was really little - Be Nice to Spiders. A zookeeper gets rid of the spiders in a zoo, and all the animals are plagued with flies. So they bring back the spiders who take care of the flies and all the animals are happy again.

I really don't like flies or most other bugs, so spiders are awesome. And it's fascinating how many different kinds/colors there are. I have tons of spiders in my yard - and probably in my house as I don't kill house spiders.

Spiders freak me out. I also don't really like tarantulas. They're just not my cup of tea.

I do like spiders, not particularly wild ones roaming freely in my room though lol But if I do find one, I’ll usually catch it and bring it downstairs and place it down on some house plants

I also have two pet tarantulas!

No. I'd be ok in a world without spiders looking like spiders.
Now that I think about it, many things have multiple legs for some reason..

absolutely not one of my biggest phobias. usually i would have my mom catch them and free them outside. i can't even get near them.

I like the web spiders. I really dislike the walking ones but only when they are in the house. When there is an overabundance of the web ones I try to get the spider outside without killing them.

Jumping spiders are kinda cute. I don't mind spiders but I don't like them to run in my hair. Once I had one of those big woods spiders in my shirt and it bit me like 5 times, that was not cool. It hurt a lot. Luckily I caught it unarmed and returned it to the woods.

Glad you were ok! Spider bites can be serious. My hand came very close to a some black widows when I was cleaning my yard after a storm. Luckily I saw them before my hand came closer. They say they're not aggressive and only bite when agitated, but I didn't know that at the time and I also didn't see them. So I could've been bitten just because of the close proximity.

I might get hate on this thread for saying this, but if you have small children or pets with a venomous spider nearby it's ok to exterminate it. I'd rather the bug be dead then my pet or kids being messed up or dead.

There is no deadly venomous spiders where I live, but some can give allergic or cutaneous reactions.
