I tried it once and didn't like it because I change my clothes often and if you have clothing loaded into the wand you cannot use them when dressing from your wardrobe. I haven't used the wand since. I have made all the wands available to me because one goal I have is to make every DIY at least once, but no plans to ever use a wand again.
at first, i had no idea how to use it, and i had no want to use it. now? i have almost every outfit slot made and i use it daily.
i enjoy it because i'm using it to hide my swimsuit, mostly; i have my wetsuit on as default, with some other scubba gear like goggles and some wet shoes, and then i use my wand to hide that outfit. so when i take my outfit off, i'm already in my swimwear and ready to go diving at the click of a button, and i don't have to walk around with my wetsuit in my inventory.
it is a bit of a hassle though, when you want to see what colour variation a piece of clothing is, or when you want to go into the ables' dressing room. you need to take the outfit and wetsuit off before you can enter or try on something from your inventory and have it show, so it comes with some cons.
I use it sparingly because I like my default school uniform! I used to have a lot of outfit slots but I didn't use most of the pre-made outfits so now I just have two: rainy season outfit and kimono. I mostly just use it when I want to take pictures but I always revert back to my regular outfit afterwards.
I like it, but I don't use it as much as I like because I'm usually wearing the wetsuit. It's a pain to change/revert back just to be able to go diving. Same goes for using the dressing room at Able Sisters.
I tried it a few times, but that's it. I still kept running back home to change. I like to mix & match and wear a different outfit everyday. It got a little annoying that the registered item cannot be picked more than once.
I've used the wand only a handful of times. Like previous users have stated, it loses its charm quickly. It's a nice idea, but I don't change my outfit nearly frequent enough to get cheesed about running to a closet to change my outfit manually. There are some wands that pair really well with some wand outfits that I've set (e.g. Iron Wand with my "Enguhneer"--stereotypical engineer--outfit).
I still feel bad for my S/O because he had to purchase eight Rounded Beard for his character to have a beard in each wand outfit. XD
I used it more in the beginning! Now I never use it, even though I always have one in my inventory anyway hehe. I put more costumes on there, rather than everyday clothes and sometimes I'll change into different outfits while visiting someone's island. I do like them as accessories though! They're just really cute!
I think the wands are super cute and the animation for changing outfits is adorable, but that’s about it. I might have used the wands once since getting my first one, other than that I haven’t used them. I probably would utilize them more as an accessory to match my outfits rather than a tool to change clothes. I do like collecting them all and putting them in my storage though lol.
Honestly, I rarely use the wands anymore, I wanted to love them but I just never took to them. If I want to change, it's easier just to change my outfit overall since wand outfits are a hassle to change.
I never use them because I don't like how the outfits "disappear" because I like checking on what kind of clothes I have all in one spot or I might want another outfit combo with the one I put in the wand. I prefer using my wardrobe to change instead.
I love the concept of dressing up, but I dont use the wand due to how limited its use was. I couldn't go clothes shopping with a wand outfit on, and I think there were a few other instances I was stopped from doing something all because I had used my wand
I love the wand system. One of the best new features added to the game. When people ask me what Animal Crossing is about, I frequently describe it as playing house and dress-up. So the feature makes sense to me.
I used to use it all the time when I first started playing now I don’t bother with it at all. I rather have more space in my inventory than carry around the wand I won’t be using
