do you like/use the wand?

Okay I need to say something. What is the point of making SO many Wand diys when they all work the same way? I mean I had the original Wand since way long ago when I first played the game and I get SO annoyed when I see so many Wand diys. Like whats the point? They all work the same way. I guess if you cared about how your wand looks then fine but one issues. WHY NOT LET US CUSTOMIZE THEM INSTEAD OF JUST LEARNING NEW WAND DIYS?! Also I stopped using it because I don't change outfits all that often!

I don't use mine anymore. I stopped because I would be searching for a certain pair of shoes or hat and couldn't find them, then later find out they were in my wand.

I do think it's cute when players would give town tours to someone on you tube, and they use the wand to change their outfits to match the area they're showing off.

I didn't like them at first but I got used to them. They come in handy when you need to change clothes before talking to a villager so they don't make fun of you for never changing.

The worst part about wands is the whole "transformation" thing. WHY can't I go shopping at Able's while I'm "transformed" when all the clothes get sent to my storage anyway? Same with changing wand outfits. And don't you have to un-"transform" before going diving? WHY is it called a "transformation"? Ooo look at me, I'm going from wearing blue jeans and a red shirt to wearing black jeans and a blue shirt! I'm a totally different person now! The "transformation" gimmick would be better if we could change our hair and stuff too, like I could have blue hair for one outfit but white for another. It would make the feature more worth it imo.

I never thought about this but you're right. Especially all the flower ones, they're so redundant. There *is* a snowflake wand but I'm surprised we're not getting a Christmas-themed one for Toy Day.

Yea, they REALLY overhype what’s basically a quick change of clothes. With the way Celeste puts it when you first talk to her you’d think that my tree branch wand actually turns my character into a deer when I use my deer costume lol

And yes, they wasted a major opportunity for hair changes (heck, even face paint changes would be an improvement). I want to have a “civilized” costume where my rep’s hair and face aren’t messed up.

i don’t. while i don’t dislike it, per-say, i crafted one during my first few months of gameplay and didn’t really care for the mechanic. plus, i don’t change my outfit all that often, either, so the wands are sort of useless to me aha.

For the same reason you can't customize an Antique Bed into a Wooden-Block Bed, even though they are both beds and work the same way. Each wand is an item that belongs in a separate and distinct themed collection.

Back to the topic: I like the idea of the wands, but I don't use them at all.

I've gotten into the habit of changing my player character's outfit on a daily basis, but rarely more than once or twice a day. Moreover, I like experimenting with different clothing and accessory items for different outfits when I'm actually changing, so a wand does very little for me if all the outfits are pre-set. It'd be way more useful if the wand acts like a wardrobe or even cooler box, and I can access everything I own whenever I use the wand.

I rarely use it when I'm on my own island but I always bring it with me when I visit friends. I like to keep funny outfits on there that I switch around each time with different titles depending on who I'm visiting haha :' ) My favourites are the iron wand and fish wand.

I WANT to love the wand. It's such a good idea to like save your favorite outfits and switch to them quickly whenever and wherever you want! Buuuuuuuuuut.... You can't share accessories or shoes between outfits. Once an item is saved to a wand slot, those items are IN the wand until you take them out. When you go to the Able Sister's shop, if you're wearing a wand outfit you can't use the fitting room. Instead of convenient I found the wand to be annoying.

I love it and use it often. My friends and I have set weird outfits on our wands and make each other laugh. Thats basically what i use it for, to weird out my friends and make em laugh

I store special/seasonal outfits in there, but considering you can use the outfit name as a message it certainely seems very practical. Only downside is that you are "in transformation" and that stops you from doing a lot of things.

Even from the trailer I never found it appealing. I just have a cooler box outside my house to change for the weather

I really like wands, love the idea of quick changing far from a wardrove and matching some outfits with certain wands...but my pockets are most of the time full so I leave them in the storage and barely use them *siigh..

I love the wand but I feel like there's not enough slots for stuff with how much I change my outfits around. I wish if you owned more wands, you could store more outfits.

I love the wand. I use it everyday. I have a bunch of wands crafted in my storage so I just use whichever one matches my outfit or theme at the time. The snowflake wand is probably my favourite. I appreciate that we can change quickly without entering our house. I am not at all bothered by the fact that we can't wear a wand outfit in the Able's changing room. It takes less than 2 seconds to revert your outfit. It is not an inconvenience for me.

I make my outfit just my wetsuit and then use the wand to apply my clothes, this way i can just deactivate my outfit to be in my wetsuit without my clothes taking up any spots in my inventory. But Sable makes me undress to use her changing room!!!
