Hello. My name is Madison, and I've always hated my name. I don't think it's a good or bad name, but it is so incredibly common. I feel genuine anger having this name because of how common it is. When I was in sixth grade, there were 11 Madisons in my grade alone. I hate hearing "not you, the other Madison" or "you, not the other one." Ever since I can remember I've wanted to change my name. I wanted to be called Flower when I was five. It doesn't help that my middle name is incredibly common as well. It's Nicole, which is pretty much the epitome of a female name. Even though I tried to at least go by "Maddie", people would still always call me Madison. My parents told me they were about to call me Alexandra, which I would have loved. I would love going by Alex. I think I should just find a name I like and start telling new people that's my name lmao. Anyway, do you like your name? Is your name unique or common? What is your name?

My name is Aiden and I have never particularly liked or disliked it. I suppose I like that it is a bit more unique (although so many kids are named Aiden now). Only issue is that I have a slightly hard time pronouncing it. I don't know why, but I think it just sounds weird in my head.

I don't really like my name irl because it sounds like a baby name and its also a 4 letter name and I don't like M names like my.
Only some M names are nice. I like my middle name Catherine way more then my first name.

I don’t really hate my name, it isn’t too common, and I think it’s nice, but the few people I’ve met who share it are almost always huge jerks but I’ve met 2 nice ones. I don’t like my middle name very much however. Its not even a name. Its ‘Jean’. Like the pants. Yeah it’s not the greatest. And then there’s my last name. It’s literally said and sounds just like the language, so people always make jokes about it and talk to me in that language when I don’t even speak it.

My name is Katie and I hate it,

I wish my parents went with the one of the other two name they said they were originally thinking of giving me, those names were Joelle and Mazie, but nope they went with the most common a** name instead

It's okay. People always spell it wrong though. It's Kathryn. Not Catherine. KATHRYN.
I just go by Kat usually.

my nam is, ( you dont need to remember) scarlett but i usually just spell it scarlet. its alright. ive grown to like it more over the past couple of years

my name is zhen?e and i rly like it but every teacher gets it wrong even tho its pronounced how it's spelt lmao so ig ive developed a few nicknames

My IRL one, no I hate it. No one can spell or say it right for some reason and I think it's ugly and stuff. (hence why I prefer to go by Sheila yes).

Hope I can change it legally soon enough, my parents made a bad choice.

my legal name is [REDACTED] and i hate it so much tbh
i'm hoping to change it to luke legally if i can someday but that's not happening anytime soon... it's a common name but idk i like it.

I like my name. It's semi-uncommon, and people always mispronounce it.
It sounds nice either way luckily. My middle name, however, I despise.

I used to hate my name (Vanessa) growing up, I don't know why. I think I didn't like the sound of it or something. I like it now, and I like the nicknames that you can create with it :)

I do like my name, even though it’s super rare and half the time people can’t pronounce it correctly lol. And yes, my real name is “Emmaka”.

Yeah, I like my name, Hannah. But I like my middle name, Kate, even more. I wouldn't want to change my first name to it though really, although I don't mind when people call me Kate. :)

My name is Lily, like the flower! (I say this to 70% of the people I meet for the first time haha)...

When I was young, I was a bit of a tom boy and I felt that my name was too girly for me. I hated it. I wanted to have names that weren't from a flower. But as I grew up, matured and got compliments on my name (lol), I began to accept, embrace, and love my name.

I absolutely love my name. It sounds beautiful and I wouldn't want my name to be anything else. :D

My name is Riley, and I love it. It’s not too common, it’s actually quite a bit unique and you can spell it different ways too. I also take solace in the fact that it originated as a male name (there was a girl named “Rylie” or something like that when I was in high school. Needless to say my friends joked around with me a lot with her name, and it was NOT amusing). I wouldn’t change it if given the chance. :)

I have always hated my middle and last names. I liked my first name when I was little, but now I feel like it's way too common - every school I go to, there's always another Benjamin who also goes by Ben (and thus every time I heard my name in the hallway it was never meant for me). I might like my name better if I'd grown up with a different nickname, though, because then it'd at least be a little more unique, and Ben feels kind of boring now. If I get the chance, I might change it someday.
