Do you name the Player after yourself?

Normally, I would use my actual name, but because a few internet friends got me back into animal crossing and I don't like giving out my real name, I used my internet nickname which is Bird. It's actually kinda funny because I don't have any Birds in my town

I never use my actual name in video games. I use one name for many years now where I would say
I would associate myself with it.

In my first few files I used other names but now I go by my real name.

In New leaf for my first town, Una. I named the mayor, Jack, after my name. For my second and third towns, Ji Falls and Borealis, I named the mayors Ivy and Luna, obviously not after myself. That's what I feel like I will always do with AC games. If I play a new version for the first towm I will name the mayor after me, the other ones all not after me.

No I dislike doing this so I just name my in game characters anything else

My mayors name is a version of my name that is very rarely used by anyone i know, but I don’t think I will name my players after myself anymore after NL.

no i never do. i just use eve for everything english and aiko for everything japanese lol. i'm too lazy to think of new names every time

I?ve never used my first name in Animal Crossing or any game. I don?t really like my first name, it?s so common.
I have used a shortened version of my middle name though, back in Wild World.

My main town's mayor's name is a variation of one of my nicknames. The other twenty-four characters have unique names.

I don't really like the idea of being called by my real name in a game or online, so I just don't use my real name. Strangely, I've accepted "Jirachi" as one of my main fictional names, going so far as to call myself that on a few Pokemon games (Weirdest being Blue Rescue Team) even though it's the name of a Pokemon.
And yes, I've used the name Jirachi in both of my New Leaf towns.

I do, though not my actual real name. My character is called Lemon and they're named after me, even though it isn't my real name. It's a name I use quite often online for example.

I use the name Stalfos so often online and in games that, in a way, I feel like I'm naming the player or account after myself whenever I use it. But no, it's not my real name.
