I'm still stuck with one room in my house and it's crammed so I can't do feng-shui to increase my luck lol.

My kitchen is my feng shui room. I have the potted ivy in all of the colors on my walls and other things sprinkled in here and there. It's a habit since population growing to have at least one room in my house with good feng shui.

I followed it yes, initially for the points, which feng shui does impact. Now that I have an S ranking, I follow it when it’s not going to interfere with my design plans.

I've done it unintentionally and actually forgot it was a thing until I received an hha letter full of praise about it.

I’ve also done it unintentionally bc I tend to put my plants right up in the front near the entrance. Also a yellow table at the back got me a feng shui comment in my last HHA letter. But I got all the trophies so I’m just decorating as I feel without caring about HHA now haha

I did it when I was trying to rack up points for the HHA to get to the gold trophy, but I think just filling your room with everything you have will do the trick.

I don't bother with it now, and I don't really factor it into my room designs either.

i did for the first few months of the game being out but i don’t anymore - at least, not really. i try to keep it in mind but some of the ideas that i want to go ahead with make it hard for me to utilize feng shui aha

I never did it in the other games but I might do it in my last room just to see if I can top my score on Sunday

Sometimes I'll throw a plant in the bottom section of a room to get some green in the appropriate place. I also have a Gold Lucky Cat in one of my rooms, sitting atop a table as a decoration. My utilization of Feng Shui comes more as a result of mostly setting up a room and needing some finishing touches, rather than entirely basing a room's design around Feng Shui.

Nope, though my dad is kinda into it - he buys feng shui books every year and rearranges furniture in the house according to the books

I might have to do it once to get the HHA stuff out of the way, but otherwise it really bugs me that a game that puts so much focus on creativity and individual expression expects you to follow so many arbitrary rules.

I love your sense of humor. 😅 That's right, you retake that basement!

We do it in every room, it kind of adds a fun challenge to decorating and we typically go for colorful designs anyway.

Not at all lol. I had look up what it meant when I got a letter in the mail saying my one room was doing a good job practicing it.

I completely forget it's a thing! if I have done it it's completely by accident :p

didn't expect this thread to get sooo many replies hehe

Maybe I should actually do it and make it look good... my basement is literally just a mish-mash of green red and yellow all piled up in the appropriate places and there's noo aesthetic design whatsoever xxddd
