movie theatres with friends and family only. i've always liked the vibes of the cinema, even the overpriced snacks lol. i just don't wanna go alone.
streaming is my go to nowadays.

going to a theater is cool, I like the event. My friend in my neighborhood when I was young had a projector in his basement which was a lot like a movie theater

i enjoy going to the cinema as a 'treat' if you will, but it's not consistently my preferred way to watch films. watching at home is way more chill and on my own terms, but it's fun to go and see highly anticipated films

going to the movies can be fun, but it has to be a movie i really want to see just because of how expensive it is to go now. i went to see barbie and the fnaf movie at the cinema, but barbie was the first time in years. i'm not much of a movie watcher in general tbh. there's nothing coming up that i think i'd be interested in going to see. the next time will probably be the second fnaf movie lol.

I actually didnt want to say anything at first; I dont like most of the movies out since the quarantine. They all look lame! I saw the matrix 4 tho, i thought it was worth it.

Okay so typically I prefer streaming because
A.) I don't always have somebody to go to the movies with
B.) I love having the ability to mute scenes at a whim
C.) I don't find the seats particularly comfortable for long movies

However!! When I was in the states with @Saylor I went to an AMC theatre for the first time and oh my gosh?? They have fancy seats!! They're these big recliners that you can put all the way back if you want to, it was wild. Having a big cozy seat (and also just getting to go with Saylor) made the experience more fun. 🥰

Streaming movies. I used to love theaters, I went there a lot when in college, it was dark, quiet (at least the one I went to), I loved the mood. Big screen, good sound. But I can't go there anymore, 1) it's a bit expensive 2) I no longer have the concentration to follow a movie for more than a hour. Now I'm streaming at home where I can pause and replay anytime because I missed what they said because distracted or I can watch it in several parts but... if I want to watch a movie in peace I need to watch it in the middle of the night because my family assumes that I don't have anything to do when I'm sitting all quiet in my corner...they talk all the time, ask me to do things for them or make a lot of noise, my mom especially, if I watch something on TV it annoys her, because I monopolize HER tv so she's always doing the dishes at that time or pass the vacuums cleaner in front of the tv. So I'm watching movies on the computer when everybody is in bed, but then it's cats that tries to get my attention. Let's say it can take me several hours and a few days to watch a movie at home.

Streaming movies is very convenient, so that's gonna win out almost every time for me, but there's just something about going to the movies seeing a movie you've been waiting to watch forever...nothing beats that experience. If you got a theater with recliners near you too, you're all set. Just as comfy as watching it streaming would be (maybe more even).

The cinema has grown on me more as I've gotten older, but I hated it as a kid. The bright, large screen hurt my eyes and the noises were too loud and would overwhelm me. But now I think it can be fun occasionally, although I still do prefer watching at home plus tbh the screen still does hurt my eyes-

I love the atmosphere of being in a movie theatre so I like going if there's a movie my friends and I wanna see. Also makes the memory of seeing a movie more special to me if I saw it in theatres! :3

I haven't been to a movie theater in nearly a decade. They're really loud and my ears are sensitive so I think that has turned me off over the years. But also streaming allows me to stay in my own space which is much better for my comfort level. Also streaming allows me to pause. Not to be TMI, but I have overactive bladder and the chances of me having to go to the bathroom in the span of a movie is VERY high lol. When you're in a movie theater and you have to go to the bathroom, doing so means you miss part of the movie. That's no good.

I prefer the theatre the most, I love seeing movies on the big screen

However when I do see some movies I get really loud people talking, or just people who are being inconsiderate of others. My grandma believes movie theatre's are social gatherings, and well very loud and opinionated.

Mostly in horror movies, so for horror I tend to see them at home, some animated movies too. But in general I prefer the theatre.

I usually like to watch movies whenever so streaming obviously, I really only care to see a new movie at theaters if it's either:

A. A movie I'm very excited about seeing.
B. A movie I want to see with others.
C. Both A & B.
