no ive never tried it, dont own a hair straightner... if i tried it on my hair now im pretty sure id look ugly af because if my hair isnt fluffy it's The Ugliest thing ever
I used to do what you do, just straightening the bangs and fringe but since I got my hair cut to my chin I stopped doing it as often. I really miss my long curly hair though
It depends what I'm doing. My hair is somewhat long, but I barely leave my house and the only time I leave is to go to work, but I tie it up at work, so I don't see any reason to straighten it.
My hair also isn't that curly anyway, it's more or less just messy and wavy, so there isn't much point to straightening it. If I want it straight (which is usually if I'm just going out for dinner with friends or something), usually I just go over it with the hair dryer for a few minutes and it tidies it up a decent amount. Sometimes when I get bored I'll go full iron on it but I'm not a fan of doing that, and only really do it if it's a special occasion where I want my hair to be dead straight. I prefer my hair having somewhat of a wave to it anyway.
In saying that, if I have to do something or go somewhere early in the morning I'll unintentionally straighten my hair, since I have a shower every morning, and will blow dry it after (since I usually don't have enough time for it to dry naturally), which leaves it somewhat straight, but that's not because I want it straight, rather just what happens lol.
Never. my hair is always straight and sometimes wavy even when its knotted and un-brushed, plus I heard those things damaged your hair, not worth being "stylish". I've been growing my hair out my entire life without any special treatments or anything like that except trims, at one point it was to my knees, but I hadn't trimed it for years, now its just at my hips, and yet I require another trimming and have no money to spare, so we'll see how it goes... Sry I got a little off topic...
I rarely have my hair straightened bc my hair is really thick and I look like a wet dog (someone once said I looked like Bonnie from HTGAWM omg) whenever I straighten it. The only time I have it straightened is when my mom forces me to have a rebond like once a year bleh. Otherwise I like my short hair that curls inward at the end.
Its already pretty straight, but when I get out of the shower it turns into a wavy mess. All I have to do is brush it all through when its semi-wet and it goes back to being straight. ◠‿◠
