Title says it all, I take:
Fish oil/flaxseed oil and "Hair, Skin, & Nails Vitamins"(x2) daily and Vitamin D weekly (since I only go in the sun like 30 minutes a day 4x a week to workout XD)

What about you?

NOTE: The Vitamins for Omega and Vitamin D were recommended/requested by my doctor as a result of my deficiencies. The "Hair, Skin, Nails" one was approved. Taking a bunch of vitamins without approval by your doctor can result in harm to your body.

I take One A Day with extra Vitamin C.

I don't care what they say, before I started taking these I was plagued with frequent terrible sinus infections that were practically getting worse with each time. Once I started taking these, those sinus infections vanished without a trace. I can not say how grateful I am to be free of those. (I've gotten sick a couple of times this year, but it's absolutely nothing compared to what I was dealing with before early 2015)

Plus, there's the whole fact that I can't eat like 75% of what normal people eat, so I do kind of need them.

Same! I noticed my skin looking less shiny and glowing as well as my hair as it used to (I was eating less nutritious foods - like vending machine snacks). After I started taking the ones I take daily, my skin and hair were super shiny, and my hair looked glowingly healthy! I also am very lactose sensitive, though not intolerant - so I take calcium every now and then to make up for it.

Nope. I eat a proper diet and get everything I need that way. Vitamins are actually dangerous to take if you don't actually have a deficiency, because they can strain your body's filtering system trying to get rid of all the extra stuff.

I would suggest to everyone to only ever take supplements like vitamins that are recommended to you by a medical professional. Self-medicating, even on something as seemingly harmless as vitamins, can always have detrimental health effects.

The ones I take are all approved and requested by my doctor. (He approved the hair skin and nails one and recommended the others for my deficiencies)

I also forgot to mention I'm on a calorie deficit diet (approved by a doctor) and I cannot get all my body needs to function to it's fullest while also losing fat.

Kudos for doing the thing right. I feel compelled to say stuff like that because so many people take vitamins just because "taking vitamins makes you healthier, right?", and they don't realize how much that can actually be hurting their overall health, when you flood your system with a ton of excess nutrients you body can't use and so has to flush out.

I don't use vitamins. I just eat organic food or whatever and try and be healthy XD

I agree, especially with nutrients/minerals like Iron. It can be very bad to take them all Willy nilly. Even when I used to take stuff without asking a doctor, I'd take like a 4th of the pill, lmao. And it would have to be something I KNOW I'm low in. Like calcium (I'm actually supposed to be picking up prescribed ones for like 4 months but didn't oops)

literally this comment so much. i know people who pop about 5 or 6 vitamins a day because they think it's almost trendy and it's appalling to think what it could do long term especially since i'm sure they don't need them

no. i used to take iron supplements but i dont do it anymore because im lazy lol. i dont think i need it or at least my blood tests have showed that i have normal amounts of minerals and vitamins so Yay

Not anymore. I'm on a medication right now that I'm supposed to wait 2 hours before or after taking to take vitamins & I don't have the time to wait to take them.

I just take vitamin D because I live in Canada and we don't really get sun for about 8 months of the year. Actually at my latitude it's recommended that everyone take at least 400 IU.

I actually don't take supplements regularly. I only really take vitamin C or iron supplements when I feel a cold coming on... I know it's not useful once symptoms have started haha but I can't stop this bad habit!

I used to take magnesium supplements before working out because it prevented cramps for me, but I don't need them at the moment.

i take a multivitamin! i don't eat animal products, so i have to make sure i get enough selenium, iron, b12, and calcium. i can get these through fortified foods but i dont eat them everyday so i gotta just take multis
