Just wondering what percent of people do this. and what you might say.

yes, a lot lol but mostly when im alone or when im thinking really hard
i just say my thoughts aloud. idk why i do it but my mother does it too so maybe i just picked it up from her xD

Yup.

I'll literally have an actual conversation with myself...I'm quite strange.

No but my mum does, mostly *****ing about people so it's funny.

yeah i do actually but just when i'm alone. rather than conversation, i'm mostly speaking my thoughts out loud? i feel like for me, it's probably related to growing up as an only child but idk

Yes absolutely. Especially when I'm writing.

Also there's a lot of singing to myself.

no, never out loud. i don't talk or make noise unless i have to. besides there's no point in talking out loud to myself for me, it only makes me anxious and feel weird and i can think inside my head, i don't need to say stuff out loud...

yea lol cause i'm like one of the only people in this world who fully understands me!! and talking to myself just kind of helps me to release feelings so

i believe the only person who understands you the best is you, so i usually talk to myself in my head sometimes

I've talked out loud to myself (mainly when I'm alone) since I was a child. I remember being in my room and talking to myself when I was around 7 years old and my sister would yell at me to shut up from her room because it was right next to mine. I still definitely do this to this day and sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it until someone is staring at me weirdly because I was talking to myself. That seriously just happened to me on Tuesday.

I don't know where I get it from or if I've done it to help with my anxiety, but it's pretty much a daily thing for me.

I sure do, only when nobody is around. And when I do, I whisper it.
