I screamed when I saw this in the video. Terraforming is awesome. It's like adding a basic minecraft to AC lol. It'll give us all something to do when we've done everything else. Good lord I'm so excited for this game I might just implode.

I liked it so much!!! I'm going to create SO MANY WATERFALLS.
I don't think it's going to overwhelming because it seems like something that might take some time to unlock! We can take our time and change things little by little. Also everything in the game is optional, so you don't have to use it if you don't want to.

I think this is amazing!! I feel like we been set free creatively and there is so much we can do now with island modification. I think the game will ease players into this function and of course, it is optional to use it. I'm glad they let players have this choice.

No, I think it will help solve problems such as where to put buildings, where to layout rivers, and all that. I'm glad these mechanics are introduced to make the game less painful on what we want to customize.

I'm kind of eh about it buuut at the same time I know I'm gonna wind up using it at least once lol, just to see. Like others have pointed out I'm glad it's at least optional-- if I had to make an entire town/island from scratch that would be too overwhelming, and tbh it's straying a bit too much from what got me into AC in the first place.
I am really excited about the landscape options they showed off with the terraforming segment, like that little pond that opened up into the waterfall over the cliff. The game looks really great so far.
