Do you think Nintendo Was Lazy when they made this

I would say they where lazy because of the similaritys between the gamecube version and the DS version, but then again, they have made some improvments that are significantly obvious, therefore making the game better and them not lazy.

Why did you have to bring this topic back up. It just caused a huge argument the last time.

Cuz I'm bored and the new topics are just boring. No1 cares about a silver axe in a fountain, and I can't get free stuff from JOM(not on my friend list anyway), and my orchard post is already dead, bear hunting day is already dead................This is an interesting topic...

Yeah, I would have rather waited a year for a more improved game, but, im not going to say anything else about this topic because people will get mad at me, even thought it is my own opinion and I am entitled to my own opinion

not nearly has bad has super smash bros. brawl that game is fun but some of the stuff just sucks

They were. There were loads of things they could have done like:

- Larger City
- Houses like in ACWW for each person
- Aerobics in ACGC brought back
- Bring back neighbor pics
- Had more holidays
- Bring back the tropical Island
- Other things.

Idc if I'm making it sound like both the games mixed in one. I hate the fact they didn't add some of the stuff listed.

Yeah they were definitely being lazy it's nice the way they changed the way the game looks and how they brought back stuff from the gamecube version but still there was much more to be expected.

The city was an amazing change.
Grafix
and little things you probably didnt notice :D

I havent had Wild world, so i unno but I like CF :p

it is a very good game.i love it .but yes.it could of been epic, huge game of the year.but alls they did was mix gc versionds version and took alo of events from the towns and BAM!!city folk was made.i love it but could have been better yes.still great game.

i personally love the game. i know it looks like a remake of WW, but I like it that they incorporated the best things from the original and WW. ^_^

(QR)

Of course they were.

While I'm in no way saying that the game is crappy, I love it! I'm saying it could've been an amazing addition to the series, I mean look at Mario Galaxy. It didn't just take Sunshine or 64 and add a section to it or add some things here and there, they made it into the game it is, completely separate atmosphere to the others.

If you say they weren't being lazy, you obviously haven't played the first two iterations. You can tell that this wasn't a true sequel, it was a "catch-up" for those who have never played an Animal Crossing before, for example I had my mom play AC:CF yesterday, her first time playing any AC game as far as I can remember, and now she's hooked. And when the next Animal Crossing comes out she'll no doubt want to play that too. So sure they added the City and took additions to both games that made them great, (IE: Rolling log effect from WW, things like that) and just somewhat rolled them into one. On IGN Wii's review of CF it hit the nail on the head I suggest reading it, but all in all if you have played the first two AC you won't notice any huge, game defining differences between this and the past versions.

I feel that Nintendo could have made a wonderful, true, sequel if they would have been given more time, but due to they had really no first-party games ready at the time for the Christmas season, they no doubt pushed the developers into getting this thing ready in time.

But again, as a veteran Animal Crosser, it's hard for me to feel that this game was pushed as far as it could have been, but at the same time the game's charm and laid back relaxation feel to it that you've come to expect from an Animal Crossing game is a extremely nice break from today's fast paced action games, and one welcomed with open arms! :D

Fro~
