mhm because vets obviously want the best and won't deal with declines like that.Jubstan said:They already have, too late.tspenc11 said:Yeah, but what about the older Nintendo players, are they just going to drive them away to Sony or Microsoft.#gsw1996 said:Nintendo doesn't care about veterans like me there want new people who never played GC AND DS to play Wii
i almost want to. i was literally just discussing with my brother.Kpspen said:Yeah and the older players played the better Nintendo products anyway. i wasn't sure what year you were born / were referring to, and then rediscovered you and i had the same bday.#gsw1996 said:I was born around the time n64 was dieingKpspen said:Like N64 or the classic Nintendo, which I never really played. I just played the console games on the Wii, since I was born after the super nintendo era.#gsw1996 said:true dat
i can't believe we never get to see DK64 on the wii.....tspenc11 said:Yeah, but after a while if the quality doesn't go up, then no one will buy their games.Palad said:[n,Dec 27 2008, 12:04:34 AM]Btw, i still have a working N64. I have Mario64, Kirby64 and the chrystal shards, A basketball game, Bango Tooie, Bango Kazooie, a basketball game, Mario Kart 64, Donkey Kong64, and Super Smash Brothers. I might be missing one or two, but i think those are all
I love to pop in the old games once in a while. They seem so... good. Nintendo has been washed into darkness. Their old games are sooo much better. Well, to play once in a while. Its fun to just pop in Super Mario 64 and beat lots of levels. When i was young, (in 1st grade) i couldnt beat most of the levels i can easily go through now.
Nintendo has taken the corrupted path of re-doing to get more work done, faster, so they can get more money. QUALITY NOT QUANTITY... but if its for the money, quantity goes over the quality i guess
i also can't believe people have never played super mario world.Palad said:[n,Dec 27 2008, 12:08:49 AM]I like super mario world so much. I got it on the virtual concel (and i got a SNES-wii mote). One of the best games made. Not to advertise, but you should definately try it out. Its legendary
it was pretty much impossible for us to get all 15 town models.Kpspen said:yeah and you have to go back and get everything you got in the previous time you had it. So if you had a town for a year and restarted, you'd have to play a year JUST to get back to where you were. (And get a nice townhall model)Palad said:[n,Dec 27 2008, 12:15:05 AM]What im saying is, once your town is messed up, you prety much gotta start over. And in AC, starting over isnt too fun... catching fishyou already caught... rebonding with animals... Re-getting all the bells... its torturePalad said:[n,Dec 27 2008, 12:12:33 AM]Yeah, since animal crossing dies if you dont play it for a while, it should be one of those games that keeps the old AC, and adds double. For instance, in this, you should be able to design a town after you get like 10mil bells. But there should be massive upgrades in each one, yet they should keep old things
AC is a game that takes time to progress- its a game that takes a lifetime to complete, not one of those 1-month games. If you dont play it for a while, you better make a new ACC or something, because your town will be pretty messed up.
Going back to a AC game just to get the feel of it is ok, but to 'Beat' it is out of the question. So they should work really hard on AC games so that you have no urdge to go back to old AC games
you are so right. amazing.Palad said:[n,Dec 27 2008, 02:47:37 AM]I dont have WW, but i liked how in ACPG (Animal Crossing Population Growing, also known as ACGC- Animal Crossing Game Cube) that the main way of making money was...watercat8 said:I is good at feeling video games ^^Away236 said:yea yea yea...that's exactly itwatercat8 said:yeah... it kinda did. 'drum roll'
helping out villagers, getting attatched to them, and giving them stuff
going back to the old posts, the villagers in GC were much more... lovable.
But a few hours ago, teddy asked for a blue item, and i gave him a folding chair. He put it in his house. That made my day =D. Seeing advanced technology, where the animal decorates his room accordingly made me smile
Also, a month ago, I carelessly gave an animal i hate a ninja sword- a rare item worth 9k. IT WAS STILL IN HER INVENTORY, UP TILL NOW. I wondered why it wasnt in her house... anyway, she wanted to give it back to me for a fish. That also made me happy
So here, the AI of the animal is more advanced, but in rare situations.
But the music, yes, it gave the fresh feeling
It felt good to play AC now.
Now, the way to make money isnt by making the villagers happy...
Its by going to other towns (Such as fruit, turnip prices, fishing with a friend, doing stuff with a friend, planting stuff, etc.)
you dont really spend 'quality time' with the animals here.
I played hide and seek, but that was the only time
The only way to comunicate with them is by mail
So.. yeah
But the music adds to it all.
It sets the mood
And GC was better
I forgot to mention because this also seems to be a relevant topic... I was born in 1993. In 1998, Gameboy Colors were the game system to get where I lived. So at the age of 5, I got my first Nintendo system, there was a SEGA Genesis at my grandma's house but it was not the same thing. A few years later I got a N64 and had quite a few games for it. But maybe 2 years later for Christmas I asked my parents for a PS2?! I am not quite sure why I diverted to Sony but for some reason I did. Nine months later I got a GameCube but for those 9 months without the GameCube I felt like I was missing something. Now all this time I had been getting the newer updates of the Gameboy (Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance SP) but I stopped at SP and went straight to DS. I had a regular old DS for awhile but it broke so I got a DS Lite. One year later for Christmas I got a Wii. So I have and always will be a Nintendo person. I do not regret getting the PS2 because I do love Kingdom Hearts, but at the time I did. So I never knew how all of the SNES and NES games were, which is why I am happy that Nintendo at least included some of them (ALOT of them actually) in the virtual arcade for those of us who have never played them before or for those of us who loved them way back when and want to revisit to remember the fun times they had while playing.smallz2011 said:I never owned the GameCube version of AC... but I did own ACWW and I loved it... even though at times I DID eventually get tired of the game, I still loved it. So seeing that ACCF was not much different from ACWW made me sort of happy because to me, WW is how all of the AC games are because it is the only one I had experienced. Probably if I went back and bought ACGC and played it I would love the way it is and begin to miss that quality time with the animals. I do spend some time with my villagers but for instance, Truffles, I do NOT like Truffles at all and as hard as I try to make her mad and move away, she won't. So I guess I have to live with her for now. I will probably miss her when she finally does move away but not as much as I will miss Cube, Gladys or Poppy (my three favorite villagers that I have). They are like family to me because as soon as I put ACCF into my Wii and begin playing, I am in a whole new world where every decision matters as much as it does in real life, and that is hard to find in a video game.
