It's supposedly the name of the European/Australian game. Here's what I think about it...

- It's a rumor that came out of a translation of the Japanese name rather than the American name.
- "City Folk" has some sort of meaning in those countries already, so it would be weird.
- Or they named it completely independent from NOA

What do you think?

So why do you think it's different? One of the two reasons I mentioned?

It's because apparently British and Australian people don't understand the saying: City Folk....

Nintendo of (those countries) must think the primary Animal Crossing audience in (those countries) have the mental state of/are small children. The boxart everywhere also points to this.

I don't see the connect between that and the name, lol[/quote]Let's Go To The City sounds like the name of a child's book or bargain bin game to me.

I'd much rather tell my friends I was playing City Folk than Let's Go To The City, myself.

It sounds like a Dora Explorer game. That AC LGTTC doesn't really go...

Oh well... it will still be the exact same game.

It will be exactly the same as the UK and Australian box art except with City folk instead of Lets go to the city
