Do you think they will introduce new villagers for the Switch release?

I sure hope they do! I personally hope they add some new species- I know people are really wanting bats and foxes. But I'd also like to see more of the species they don't have a lot of, like octopi or rhinos. And I really want more dialogue and personalities!

They've always did for every animal crossing game (Even Happy Home Designer, excluding Amiibo Festival and Pocket Camp) They'll for sure add new villagers. I just hope there wont be like 18 new villagers.

Exactly, it wouldn’t make sense. But to each their own. You’ll be missing out on a lot when AC Switch comes out.

I said if it was geared towards multiplayer or forced internet, THEN I wouldn't waste my money on a Switch.

So *I* wouldn't be missing out on anything, either way.

Except data fees, I'd save on that!

I'd love to see fewer but more unique characters. It's such a waste to have 300-400 villagers when they only have 8 different personalities. My wish is that they do away with the personality groups all together and give each villager their own dialogue, behaviour and emotions. I think 50 villagers would be acceptable for a start. More could be added as we go along.

I have Katt, who looks like a cute lil vampire bat faced cat. ^_^

bats would be very cool! i agree that personality types shouldn't be gender-locked, i'd really love to see some jock girls!

I wouldn't buy the game if only 50 villagers were in. So many favorites would be removed.

I'd add to were there are 500-600 villagers because who cares about dialogue. That is like one tiny thing in the game for me. No were near as important as other features. Yes, right more than in New Leaf, but I don't see why they can't just release updates every month or so that releases like new dialogue for each personality type.

They've added new villagers for every single main series game thus far, so there's no reason they wouldn't... Not sure why you brought Pokemon up because essentially they've done the exact same thing when it comes to introducing new species with each main instalment
