I used an electric one for a while around middle school or so but otherwise I've used a manual one for most of my life, including right now. I'd like to get an electric one eventually for a more thorough clean but for now I'm going to stick with manual.
I use an electric toothbrush on a daily basis, and a manual one when I went traveling (gotta use up the sample toothbrushes I get after a visit to the dentist ).
Manual! Gives you more control and you don't need to keep replacing batteries. I had an electric as a kid but manual is just better imo. Plus I've never had any fillings, cavities, or toothaches which has to count for something,,
I know dentists usually recommend electric but I've been using manual toothbrushes for most of my life. When I did invest in an electric one, it stopped working after a few months and it was too expensive to justify buying another one.
I used manual for a long time before until my bf's parents got us electric ones. Since then, I've used a manual one once and it felt very VERY weird.. can't go back anymore It just doesn't feel like it's working right. Manual feels like my electric toothbrush just ran out of battery LOL
I've tried the electric, I feel like it doesn't do as good of a job. However the manual toothbrushes I have, have different kinds of bristles on one brush while the electric doesn't. (plus I can't justify paying $60 for electric toothbrush heads)
I found an 8-Pack disposable electric toothbrushes at Costco on clearance, so that’s what I’ve been using. They feel like massages on your teeth and the heads aren’t designed to come off so you can just toss them like you would a normal toothbrush, except the heads last forever - they have little rubber bristles in-between the nylon that are raised slightly higher so they get all the wear and tear. I’ve had to replace the triple a battery on it, but so far I’ve only needed to use one.
in my family we've been sharing an electric toothbrush since forever so I don't really know how to efficiently brush my teeth with a normal one lmao
whenever I travel somewhere & have to take a manual one with me my teeth feel so unclean, despite me using gallons of mouth water
Electric for me! I’ve actually used both for many years, but the last few I’ve been using an electric one more. I think it cleans just as good as the manual one.
I used manual for basically my entire life except for a brief time when I was a kid where I used an electric one for a few months to a year maybe. Then last year, the dentist recommended electric so I got one for Christmas and have used it this whole year. I always feel like it's rougher than I would be manually brushing, but apparently it works since there were no cavities or anything in my last check-up/cleaning, so hey.
