I don't. I don't really play touchscreen games and my switch is usually docked which lowers the chance of the screen cracking or scratching in my opinion!
I don't have one, though I've never used a screen protector on any of my devices. that layer of plexi-glass just bothers me a lot, i have friends who have used it on their phones and I really hate that stuff lol.
of all the devices I've had I've never cracked a screen, cause my phones always have a thick case, and in the case of my switch I always play it on my bed or sitting somewhere. when I'm not playing it's in its case, in the dock, or sitting comfortably on my bed. so I don't have to worry about the screen cracking
I have a protective case, button caps, thumb caps, and a protective screen. I paid a lot for my Switch and I do not want it getting damaged. That being said, I'm not even sure how much protection this stuff offers. One of my cats walked across my Switch a few days after I put on my first screen protector and he left several scratches, including a deep gouge. I was not impressed. He had already previously walked across the screen without any scratches, so that screen protector seemed like a waste of money to me.
I do! My dad got me a screen protector for it not too long after I bought my switch. I am eternally grateful that I managed to put the screen protector on without any fuss, lol. I don't use the touch screen a ton but it's still nice having it on there for the extra protection just in case!
I do and it's very important for me. 1. I'm a total klutz and 2. I'm taking the switch out of the dock multiple times a day. My brother has noticed little scratches on his uncovered switch from taking it out of the dock.
I put a tempered glass one on my Switch lite but I don't have one on my newer large switch. I found it was kind of hard to apply (i bought a 3 pack and didn't get it right until try 3) so I don't trust myself to do it again. Maybe in the fall I'll take it to a store and have someone else apply it for me. Right now I don't see a lot of need for a screen protector as my lite would be the only one leaving my home. I'm not going to worry about it!
I don't use one, in fact, I rarely used any screen protectors in the past for my handhelds. There was never really a need for them, since I played mainly at home and also took care in general of the consoles.
yeah, i have too, im extremely clumsy, but the screen protector isn’t for me—it’s for my cousins. now when they have something in their hands that isn’t theirs, they don’t care what happens to it, they’re not gentle with it. they use it so roughly, and they always look like they’re about to slam it into the ground. my cousins have dropped my switch more times than i can’t count, they don’t even say sorry they’re just like “oops” and then pick it back up, and continue to use it aggressively. the screen protector literally cracked not even long after we got it, because as soon as my cousins came over they had already dropped it about 3 times. must have been dropped really hard to have left those giant cracks on the screen protector. not to mention they scratch the joycons whenever they drop it too, my brother’s fav joycon is the green one and there’s a big chip on it because this one cousin of mine who drops our switch the most out of everyone dropped that joy con like a million times. istg the next time they come if they drop it again im not letting them play anymore, it’s ridiculous. i get being clumsy, because i certainly am, but it’s almost like they’re doing it on purpose. so many of our consoles have been broken by my cousins, and it’s not like they pay for it either. we always end up paying for a new one. if the cracks on our screen protector get even worse (cause it’s currently chipping off a little bit) and if we have to get a new one, that’s it, either they use it properly or they’re not using it at all.
I use one. I don't usually drop things but I do have a bit of tech knowledge (worked 3 years at radio shack) so I know the value of being proactive when it comes to valuable electronics. It only takes one drop...
