Does anyone else during events...?

Is anyone else extra... well, extra when it comes to events you really like?

For example, Halloween is my favorite holiday ((I say even though I do themes and stuff for other events, lol)) and haunted carnivals/dark circuses is one of my favorite themes ((hence how into the event I got last year... plus I actively try to run and try to recruit for a RP about a twisted circus, soooo XD))

So, on top of the events, I tend to do things that I'm not required to... Like draw a profile picture for my TBT Persona ((more about that in this thread))

...or draw/make an elaborate name card to fit the theme even though it took as long as working on an actual entry would have.
Although, I have a history of trying to tweak and personalize my name cards ((and I keep them all))

Then to top it off, I'm completely renovating my plaza for Unreal Estate and potentially opening my island for tours and an actual market. ((Please free me from this curse of flowers, I beg of you.))
And documenting the journey by starting a new island journal... ((Poor Azzy, I put her through so much XD))

I just get really extra sometimes, lol.
Does anyone else do that?

Is it a TBT thing?
Is it an artistic thing?
Is it just me and I'm extra?

I know exactly what you mean and feel, haha.
I am a lot more active during events, because I feel like I can express myself a lot better through events, actitivies and all that. Though, I have been using the site more. It's still nice to be able to go the extra effort for something we care about here.

Hell, I still need to make my signature!
That's the one thing I've always wanted to do for the Halloween Event, I plan to film and make my own gif. Just need to organise better so I can do it. (I think the only thing I am a bit iffy about is not having a proper tripod to hold my camera...doesn't have the release plate it should come with, and at a lost on the right plate i could buy online.)

A lot of people like to make their own special things for their profile pics and sigs, it's definitely a lovely difference to just images online, even though they can be amazing too. All of it shows the persons creativity and personality~

(You should've seen my changes I made for my Island for last years event, which is why I was so mad with myself that I was like seconds after the acitivity's deadline ended. I even wrote out the Spooky scary skeeltons lyrics on the floor as directions to the areas they needed to go to, but can't do that this time since I need that space for my patterns.)

Your art is so lovely btw~kinda giving me nostaglia of old creepypastas.

Awwwww, that would have been so awesome to see!!! What kind of plans do you have this year?

Last year I completely tore up my place to build a massive big top tent. And then surrounded it with a creepy carnival including Zipper caged as an attraction... It was so difficult to tear down and put everything back.

Absolutely!!! I completely understand the feeling of being extra. I am currently making a scrapbook of just TBT stuff for my own personal project because I’ve done so much stuff on here over the last 11 years!!!
