Would it be acceptable to trace the lines/design onto watercolour paper?
I could even show you the completed trace to make sure if it's alright. Was just worried the paper won't be able to handle watercolour paint, and the idea I have in mind.

i tried making it pastel to see how it'd look, and i think it came out nice! maybe i should've added a liiittle bit more contrast to the lighter colours though eheh... ;;

Here's my coloring entry. Since the dragon is actually Drago so I colored the dragon in Drago's color palette. The background is simple but it does the job contrasting the details.
