Dream... Islands?

One of my favorite features of New Leaf was the ability to visit dream towns. Obviously this type of feature was not mentioned in the Direct nor Treehouse this week, but I hope it is a feature that remains in New Horizons. If this feature does make its way into the new game, how do you think it will be implemented? And if you don't think it will be implemented, do you think it will be replaced another way, or do you think it will limit our ability to see others' towns?

I mean, no one knows if it's coming back, but I'd love for it to return. It's the only way to visit other towns in New Leaf besides local/online multiplayer.

I hope the feature returns because I liked looking at how people made their town and Houses at my own pace.

Hopefully they update so you can dream with friends. It could be fun to destroy a town together (without doing actual damage)

I'm certain the dream suite and Luna will make a return similar to the way they were in New Leaf. I hope this time around they'll add a tagging system and a way to better discover islands. It'd be nice to be able to choose a photo and description to represent your island since in ACNL the only information you were given when trying to find new towns to dream about was the mayor and town name and that's pretty limiting.

i think it was a very loved thing by so many players, it would be weird for them to not have it in new horizons.

For some reason, I think if it's in New Horizons, it will be a little more similar to how Mario Maker works where people can give good islands stars and there is a discover page with the most popular islands, as well as a random island/island codes. Dream towns were way too popular and kept people playing for years to just get rid of.

Especially since the videos and interviews so far have put a lot of emphasis on how customizable the island will be, it would be quite strange to not allow an easy way to share what's been built by each player.
I suppose they have focused on the expanded multi-player aspect as well and could just expect us to visit other islands instead, but I think a return of the Dream Suite is still much more likely than not.

I am fully expecting them to implement the dream system again. It may not be called dream islands/towns and the dream suite may also be gone but I feel like it's an integral part of the game at this point.

Of course we've had a couple accidents with a certain big franchise that has a set of two mainline games coming up so anything's possible I guess

This is exactly what I'm thinking too. After all, people who created such towns like Aika Village in New
Leaf probably gonna do a similar thing in NH too and want to share it with others. So not bringing back
Luna and the Dream Suite would be a big mistake at this point.
