I recently got a false wi-fi rating, which I am ok with, I guess :/
But this got me thinking, What is the most BS reason you have ever gotten a -Rating?

If its false try contacting a mod. Sometimes they will try reverse it if they can verify your story.

I couldn't care less about my false wifi rating, I am just wondering if anyone else has funny story's.

You really should care, the lower your Wi-Fi rating, the less likely people are to trade with you.

As for me, I've never gotten a negative Wi-Fi rating before, but my friend has. It said "Thanks."
So I assume they meant to use positive xD

If you PM me with what happened I can look into it for you. We can remove wi-fi ratings if we agree they're unjust.

I got a negative one because I had to cancel a trade because when I told them I could trade, something came up and I couldnt so they gave me one because I made them wait four hours. I contacted a mod and they changed it to a neutral one because they said my communication couldve been better which is pretty fair. The mods here are nice

Fortunately not, no. I don't trade very often, though. When I finish my town I'll probably invite more people over, though, so I guess it's only a matter of time before some nutter comes along and sets me up.

I put in the negative wifi rating because the OP was giving out fake minecraft accounts and stealing my TBT.

I have never traded on here yet. I hope I never get a negative rating!!

From the looks of it, your negative ratings are ones you deserved.
Saw one from Cass123 saying you ruined a bit of her town or whatever.

The mods will probably figure it out. I doubt I'm wrong though.
Sorry if this seems a bit rude, but messing with people's towns ain't cool

I haven't gotten one yet, but I'm terrified that I will because I have a 1 year old and tons of things happen where I have to cancel trades or postpone them for days because of things like spontaneous crying/screaming, poopy diapers (which ends in POOP EVERYWHERE if not changed immediately), refusing to sleep (this is the biggest issue), and chasing him around the house trying to prevent him from destroying everything and his self. It's seriously tough.

As long as you don't try to scam someone and you don't go wandering off in people's towns, then you won't get a negative wi-fi rating. Just stick to the trade and if you want to go look around in someone's town, then ask for permission first.

I've had a lot of trades get delayed or fall through for various reasons and have never received a negative rating. The people here are usually pretty cool and won't give out negative ratings unless you try to scam them or destroy their town. As long as you don't try to sell stuff for TBT and just take their payment and never respond back, you should be fine. If someone tries to pay you TBT in advance and you can't trade soon for some reason, then you should just refund the TBT ASAP and then if you can trade later, that person can pay you again.

Wow it's quite rare to see more than 1 legit negative wifi trade rating on tbt. You're the second I've seen with these ratings

i haven't gotten any negative ratings yet, or any ratings at all for that matter.
probs cause i've been on this forum only a few months and only had one legit trade with someone (who didn't bother to leave a rating of any kind, even though everything went smoothly)

I got a random rateing I think it was a positive rateing. It said thanks for tradeing but I didn't trade with them. Didn't know what to do.

never had any negative ratings, its not worth my time to piss other people off and scam them or wreck their towns. what good do you get out of that? nothing.

People don't usually give out bad ratings for no reason, I mean I have never gotten any. And I've seen your profile and you have complaints from several people so this post just looks as if you're trying to convince people that you didn't do anything wrong. The other user Lee_ also has people complaining and that account just looks like another account you've made, being that you were lee's first friend, commented on lee's first thread, and the similarities in the username. And not to mention how shady both you and Lee_ are. But I can be wrong! Either way, if you really didn't do anything wrong then please contact the mods, and if you really did scam people then I hope the rating stays as it deserves to be.

Going to shut this down momentarily as it seems to have turned into a rehash of an unfortunate incident that took place a few months ago. Even if you're doing nothing more than quoting another user or posting screenshots of what took place, keep in mind that this person was permanently banned for this behavior so posting the same things (even as quotes) isn't much better than doing it in the first place, as racist and profane posts still break the rules, even if they weren't your words originally. I'll consider reopening this thread later on, but everyone needs to use better judgment with what's being posted here.

If you receive a Wi-Fi rating that you feel is unjustified or that isn't indicative of what actually took place, the best thing to do is PM a staff member so it can be thoroughly investigated and possibly reversed. Oftentimes it's merely the result of a simple miscommunication or a lack of patience and most people are willing to work things out from what I've seen.
