favorite missing npc?

Responding like this, you might as well say that you like ALL characters already in the game equally, no?

Not at all.

I miss Joan, and don't get why she was replaced by the snotty, gross Daisy Mae.

Same goes for Chip and Nat.
They didn't need to be replaced by Flick and C.J.

The only NPC's I like in NH are the ones that have been a staple/core character(s) in most of the previous AC titles.

Though I no longer like Gulliver, as they've turned him into a traveling hat factory, handing out what was formerly and mostly, generic Able Sisters merchandise.

So no.
Answering "All of them", as being missed, doesn't mean we automatically like the current NH NPC's.

Harriet has been among my favorite NPCs for a long time and the fact that her purpose in NH has been completely nullified by the fact that you can easily change your hair style/color and eye color so easily now makes me really sad, cause I loved going into her little salon and seeing her. I know the process for changing hairstyles was a pain cause it was all kinda vague, but I still miss seeing Harriet. I honestly wonder at the point if she'll ever be able to make an appearance in NH now

Definitely Pete, Pelly and Phyllis. The dodo's are just not trained or equipped to handle large volumes of mail. Every time I time travel just to speed up the 5 letters a day mail delivery we've been graced with, I pour one for the mail birds.

honestly, i miss all of them. i miss katrina and her fortune telling, brewster and the roost, dr. shrunk with his jokes and the list just goes on and on. might be wishful thinking but i’m really hoping for all of them to make a comeback one day. <3

yes he already needed more dialogue in the games he was in, but in acnh he's completely gone there's not even any references to him like there is with Resetti.

Don actually is referenced. If you use the Resetti rescue service enough, eventually Don will answer

Ugh that is a hard one. I like Digby but mostly in relation to Isabelle. Probably a tie between Resetti and Kapp'n, but I think I'll go with Resetti bc as I've gotten older, I've come to realize that Kapp'n is kind of a creepy old guy harassing the female villagers and I've grown uncomfortable with that lol.

Glad to see the love for Pete, Pelly and Phyllis, their love triangle was one of my favorite things about the game when I was a kid. Felt like I was discovering a secret lol

Honestly when I think about it I miss so many of them, I liked the variety of styles and dialogue they all had.

On that note I'm throwing a bone to good ol' Lyle <3 Yeah he talked for way to long but sometimes his exchanges with Tom Nook in NL were so sweet.

Also I remember when he used to wait outside your house in CF and I didn't understand what he wanted from me so I just ignored him for days haha

Resetti is my favorite. He's like that one very strict teacher that the whole class is very afraid of, but turns out to be the best one as you grow older.

Pelly she is just so sweet, and Phyllis because ultimate sass. Pete too, but I didn’t manage to see him in WW so it didn’t really matter for me. Wild World is my first and favourite game and really it feels weird without them!

Brewster is definitely one of my favorites NPC of all time so it’s disappointing to not see him in NH. Back in NL, his shop was my favorite place to do whenever I play and I enjoyed helping him out with taking orders and have that nice connections with him and customers.
Katrina is another favorite of mine, as well as Kapp'n after NL!
Honestly in my opinion there is no bad NPC in AC so I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed with the current NPCs in NH, though I do wish Nintendo would’ve included one or two to make the island a bit more lively. ^^;

I would probably have to say Brewster. Birds are my favorite type of animal, so he's got that going for him right off the bat. I like his personality, I find his café enjoyable, I'm fond of his Brewstoid series of gyroids, and I really enjoyed getting carryout coffee, especially during Winter.

Second would probably be Katrina. She has a cool design, I like her tent and her shop's interior, and her fortunes are fun. I doubt she'll return, but I'd be happy if she does.

I'll also mention Pelly, Pete, and Phyllis. Partly due to my fondness for birds, but moreso because it feels sort of strange to not have them present when they had been since the GameCube days. Plus, who's delivering the mail for the island, Isabelle? A Nook Inc. drone? I also liked to headcanon that Phyllis was the person in the Zipper T. Bunny suit, so her not being around kind of diminishes some immersion.

Between brewster and katrina. I am one of the few or among the popular side of the poll, not sure cause i have not been much on the forum sadly , that they will be coming soon and with.
At this point if they don't i think ill be extremely sad and heartbroken .

yes i hope thay bring back Brewster i only recently played new leaf and hes so grate and Kapp'n is well Kapp'n sens we all have docks i hope thay will ad him, idk how thay wood bring back the pelicans but i with thay wood (Phyllis is my favorite)
