Favorite returning villager?

Ace is my favorite. I like his color scheme. His design is really simple but cute.
Roswell has an interesting look as well.

Roswell is really interesting! I'm caught between hunting for him and Tiansheng when I get the chance, but I think I may go with Roswell. As far as I know, I don't have any of the older villagers from the first game - everyone I have is fairly new. I think it would be nice to have him as a little throwback!

Frett is my favorite because he’s a dog. I have to choose him for that reason. A close second would be Roswell, formerly known as Pironkon. I love both of these villagers.

The aloha tees from the older games are my favorite. I feel like the new aloha shirts with pineapples on them don’t really scream aloha, if I’m being completely honest.

I was thinking of giving her the bug aloha shirt from Flick once I get her.

Frett is my favorite; I adore him. Close second would be Azalea, and after that is Roswell. I’m considering all three for my island—I like them even better than the brand new designs.

I was thinking of giving her the bug aloha shirt from Flick once I get her.

I haven’t heard of that specific tee, so I looked it up. It’s honestly great. I’d probably have my character wear it sometimes. The blue aloha tee was my signature outfit in previous games. That aloha bug tee is much better than the pineapple aloha tee.

Not sure how I feel exactly about Tiansheng. I like his =3 face, house interior, and color from what I can tell.

Roswell is my favorite and Chabwick is my second favorite.

I would say Rio is my third favorite even though I find Ostrich villager to be okay designs.

Not going to lie, I feel like better choices could have been made for returning villagers, but it’s fair that they wanted almost every species to get a new/returning one.

With that being said, Frett is my favorite. It’s good to have another cranky dog alongside Butch.

I really love Azalea's design and honestly, all the returning villagers look nice I really hope this isn't the only villager update they do it'd be fun if they kept this game supported for a long time maybe even till the next one!
