Favorite returning villager?

I’m glad to see Faith. I don’t mind her design so I’ll probably add her to my island because I haven’t had a villager with her personality in a while, as I tend to not like their designs particularly much.

I really love Azalea's design and honestly, all the returning villagers look nice I really hope this isn't the only villager update they do it'd be fun if they kept this game supported for a long time maybe even till the next one!

Unfortunately, this is the last update minus bug fixes. All holidays are no longer timelocked, they've already added new Thanksgiving and Christmas items, new Halloween stuff, etc. They aren't going to support it further. AFAIK, the staff will be moving on to Splatoon 3, as they have a lot of shared staff members from the Splatoon team working on ACNH. So, this is it for ACNH. What you see is what you get.

It would have been neat, though. :'>

Not going to lie, I feel like better choices could have been made for returning villagers, but it’s fair that they wanted almost every species to get a new/returning one.

With that being said, Frett is my favorite. It’s good to have another cranky dog alongside Butch.

Nindori the ostrich and Sunny the frog would've been nice.

Villagers like Inkwell and Wolf Link are coded in the game.
Maybe we will get them for Splatoon 3 and Breath of the wild 2 when they come out, respectively.

Azalea is my favorite of the bunch. I found her on a mystery island and I had to invite her. Faith is a close second. She is probably one of my favorite koalas.

I'm not really big on any of the returning villagers (I miss Hank and Emerald ), but if I had to pick, Roswell. Rio and Azalea are nice too.

azalea is a real cutie pie, absolutely love her color scheme, it's such a nice shade. the white flower around her horn is also adorable!

runner-up would probably be ace, he's just a cute lil blue bird.

somewhat disappointed with the villagers they chose to bring back overall though, so many nice designs got ignored

The only one I really like is Frett, mainly because I love his messy themed house.
