I saw that there was a thread for HHP Vacation homes, so I thought, why not one for our island's residents? If this is a problem, feel free to lock this, moderators! Anyways...

I've currently only done the homes belonging to Skye and Kyle, however, I don't have a picture of Kyle's home because he refuses to go inside currently. However, I've got a screen capture of Skye's home!

To be honest, I'm not really sticking to a theme relating to them. I'm just going all-out with whatever I think looks neat! Working with 6 by 6 is difficult, though.

Huh, I was thinking if there was gonna be one. (I could have made a thread myself, but decided against it)

On topic however, I recently redesigned Cashmere's home to be what her dream job was to be, which is becoming a chef. So I made her a Restaurant Kitchen so she could feel like she's living the dream. (Much better than the cozy looking wool-looming house)

I don't have a picture sadly, you'll have to wait until tomorrow for that. Once that day comes I'll edit this post to add the picture, I promise that!

I dunno, it is possible there is a thread on this topic floating around. I didn't see one while searching for one... granted, I'm pretty bad at using this forum's search feature, lol.

I'm happy with the job I did with Ricky's house tonight. His fake trees were annoying me since they made it difficult to see him when I walked in, so I decided to change his house while sticking with the general house theme and I'm actually pleased with the end result:

(even though it's hard to tell, I did use the butterfly polishing effect with several items for a more natural feel)

You're not the only one, must be why I don't create threads often.

Honestly, when I create a thread I intend to use frequently.. I just bookmark it, or copy the URL into a notepad, lol.

Oh my, polishing! I can't believe I forgot to use that. I could have definitely used steamshine on most of the items I used in Cashmere's redesigned house. No matter, I may use it for my other redesigned homes.
