[For Fun Thread] Create a PWP!

This thread is a 'just for fun' type of discussion. Create a PWP that you would love to see in the Animal Crossing Switch title. Who knows, you may even create something that ends up in the game!


For me, I'd love to see a glass bridge and more variations of the flower bed. Your turn!

Blanca tent!

A tent you can build that blanca will visit sometimes, and give you some circus chores to do, maybe you have to copy her movements or that kind of mini game. I don't like how Blanca existed in new leaf, and I think the animal pictures need to be friendship exclusive items. I think the circus tent could also occasionally attract a competitor to dr shrunk, who has rare emotions, or maybe blanca herself could give rare emotions.

I think the circus tent shouldn't always have blanca in it, and maybe when the tent itself isn't there it could just give you a clearing with some baloons or something more simple like that. Maybe it's less of a pwp, and more like you give blanca a permit to bring her circus to town sometimes.

How about a very large, very elegant cast iron statue of Tom Nook (or Tortimer?), on a high pedestal? Like the big statues in European cities. Perhaps it could be in the middle of a small pond or surrounded by a small moat of some kind.

One that your villagers could interact with.
There was already the Jungle Gym in new leaf, so I figure why not.

I also really like the idea of the illuminating pwps, so maybe some christmas theme ones during the holiday?
I think it'd be cute.

A treehouse!

Basically, a big tree, not as big as the town plaza tree, but bigger as a normal tree, with a
cosy treehouse on it, which also changes it's look whatever season it is right now (like in
summer, there is a parasol on it or in winter, it's decorated with christmas lights).

The treehouse has two functions:

1) It works like the campsite. A random villager stays overnight at the treehouse and just like
at the campsite, you can talk with the villager, playing games (those would be different then
the ones on the campsite, since different location and so on) or you could ask the villager to
move into your town. Depending of what personality the villager has, the treehouse changes
it's lok, like for example if you have a jock villager, there are spot relevant items inside the
treehouse.

2) You can use a telescope, which is on the treehouse, to have a nice overall view of your
town. You can also zoom in and out and with the help of the telescope, you can see your
town from different perspectives which you can't with the normal camera.

I just thought it would be cool if the game has something like this.

I have been cooking up this one for a while: A Newsstand! It would offer a weekly newspaper titled 'The [Your Town Name] Times' and would offer up things such as if a certain NPC might be appearing in town at some point in the week and the weather forecast for the week, including the percentages of said weather on any given day.

I dislike I'd say 95% of PWPs and hate having to build them in order to achieve perfect status, but if they could make more that serve an actual purpose and have some sort of use besides taking up space in your town and looking ugly, then I'd be all for it.

I would personally love to see more flower-themed PWPs. You know, flower bench, flower lamp, that kinda thing. I think it would be really neat, especially for nature/flower/colorful themed towns

I would love beach public works projects. I had an idea of a tarp with an umbrella, pile of rolled up towels and a cooler that you can sit on!

An event hall! The player can choose 1 day a week to host an event (dance party, potluck, talent show, etc) and go around town asking NPCs to help with xyz (decoration colors, type of food or music, so on) then on the scheduled day and time everyone comes together!

I?d love to be able to place a real pond somewhere. Just like the ones already in town, but a pwp. OR! Even better! A water garden that looks like a regular pond, but where you can plant lily pads or cattails or whatever. I?d also like to second the treehouse suggestion.

I would like to make a swimming pool that your character and other villagers could jump in. A lot of pwps are just decorations you can look at and I would rather be able to play with them.

The water pond creation could provide a neat new dimension in cultivating proper environments to attracting insects/fish to catch too!

Then your better off playing the sims, I mean it’s cute, but ac isn’t a sandbox game, I wouldn’t mind selecting from some predetermined ones though

Eh, I meant it more in the same way planting certain trees/bushes/flowers are required to get certain insects; like we already have ^^ (that said this would necessitate it being a smaller/removable... it would be a bit much for permanently altering the town, but if it’s a removable feature? I don’t see it as any different the rest, after all, plenty of people work with town builds that mean one thing or the other wouldn’t quite fit)

Ever since Wild World, I've wanted to be able to actually use the Elephant Slide, so I think that should become a PWP! Additionally, I think a bird box of some sort could be very cute, especially if it can home the yellow bird often seen on the bulletin board.

So, I was thinking something like rotten items like fruits and turnips that attract flies and ants, we could use bait in these areas to attract more rare fish for a limited time?
